one thing you missed about a lvl 5 accel, its range is increased to 22, meaning it has more range than before and can have up to 30.37 range with a max dj, which is about 3 more range than before. Not a big change but very useful in certain situations great video btw!

Genuinely, they need to do something about Engineer. I get that its a “All-round” tower but being honest it doesn’t feel that good to use. Feel like it should get an overall gem reduction and lowered upgrade costs to bring it it closer to that or giving it abilities to support other towers. Early Hidden is great but you have support options like Warden and funnily even Accel. Flying/Lead which is pretty obsolete outside hardcore. Even then theres better options for similar costs to handle each of those options seperately.

It's best just change the pricing of the accelerator to the engineers price of 4.5k since the devs clearly favor the accelerator being the highest damage dealing tower in the game. This means the engineer will cost 2.5k gems which with its current 90dps nerf suits it.

Corso I’m glad u do these types of content, I’m currently studying for exams.. so i basically know what i missed. but in my opinion accelerator is balanced due to the hard gamemodes (polluted, badlands, etc.) but engi needs a buff

the only think that keep accel being a balance tower is overcharged like if there is no limit then all u need is accel and u can solo everything well u still need to farm sadly but u can surely solo all gamemode except polluted waste cuz there is still tower limit u can't really take out 1.5m hp boss alone but maybe who know if the damage is also 100% maybe u can

idk about 500 dps tho, my math can very well be off but from his firerate and 3000 overcharge bar, it takes 6 seconds to fill up and 5 seconds to exhaust(but it feels more like 5~ seconds fill up) so he roughly attacks half of the time. i dont know how exactly to calculate it but the number i got was 411 XD, or below 300. no matter what tho he still does much more damage than before and it boosts a lot because of commander unlike engy. whether who is better its not clear

(Not including charge up/overheat.) Accelerators with commanders is gonna do around 750 dps. It can do 3000 damage before overheat. I THINK Accelerator still has a placement limit of 8, 8x3000=24000. 3000/750=4, every 4 seconds all 8 accelerators will do 24000 dps. pros: less gems than engineer, high dps (probably best in game), good range, (I think 8 can be placed). cons: expensive to place and upgrade, gets stunned, overheat mechanic, wind up mechanic.

They really cant nerf accelerator because then persuit would be better for multiple reasons, Good reasons include that pursuit has AOE Damage from its missles, and its unstunnable. Id say that they buff engineer to have its 4 sentries back and a placement limit of 8 just increasing the price to 35K to max, and make 2 sentries have hidden detection (out of 4)

The overcharge mechanic can be problem at the Fallen king fight When its overcharge loaded if theres enemies like Giant boss in front of the Fallen king Accelerators lock on to the Giant bosses instead this might be a "LİTTLE" problem.

Me personally, i think this accel buff was fair because of all the nerfs the hardcore towers have received, its quite needed. They would probably make it even worse than it was before, just because most of the player base cant keep their mouth shout about it being good.

id say this update is very well for the accelerator its less reliable but has more dps meaning its a bit risky using it as its burst now lasts 5 seconds lower with the cost of more dps but is it better than an engi? as a level 400 tds player ABSOLUTELY BETTER you dont need to play casually in tds risky is the better move ngl engi might have good dps of 360 but accel can get 295 with supports go as high as 400 (750 max) you use commander everyday engi is good without supports which its beneifits is while just costing less engi still is well on cost effiency on 96 per 1 dps BUT the accel is SIGNIFFICANTLY better in some cases because of its dps and supports

I think balanced as accelerator has a charge up and CAN get easily stunned,so both are now good tho as you said charge up has a cooldown more than 1 second so engineer has more dps also somethin i forgot while writing engineer limit is less then accel if im right so BALANCED.

Engineer actually has more DPS than accel because of the charge and cooldown it's somewhere around 280 DPS. But add all 8 accels and it's more DPS than all the engineers.

accel is also much better aginst hidden enimies (which actually kinda matters because even a max engineer can struggle with a shadow boss) accel also has a higher placement limit and range (war machine sentires have 22 range and the engineer has 20, but accel has 22.5 range which means its better range even without dj) so yeah, accel is better in almost every way imo

I think accelerator got a little bit nerfed cuz the burst time is much shorter especially with the commander. Before the accelerator got reworked, it was able to keep its burst for 12 secs. But now with commander its burst is only like 5 seconds (also just saying the dps is 286 not 500)

Okay so this why I think engi and old accel are better than the new accel: the new accel has a 2 second cool down so that's minus 500 DPS every 3 secs in which the old accel and engi didn't have and they can do more DPS while it's in it's cool down

the accel real dps without commander is now 280 you may ask how? if the accel has 500 dps and 3k over charge that means it fires for 6 seconds instead of the old 12 and if you have commander then thats a different story
