That's awesome, thanks for the tour. Saw his other statue last year in Fremantle WA Australia, where Bon Scott grew up and went to school.. There's also a plague where his ashes are in the cemetery there. He moved to Australia.at the age of 6, after leaving Scotland with his family. AC/DC only hit Britain near the end of the punk era. I saw AC/DC in the late 70s in a venue that seated 1200 people. Bon Scott hosted Angus Young on his shoulders and ran about the areana while Angus played. I got a high five from Bon as he ran by me. Good times...

Big fan of Acca Dacca as us older Aussies loved to call them. Never knew this memorial statue existed of Bon Scott. The band in their very early days before they were even recognised as anything much more than a garage band performed at our local youth centre hall in Forestville Sydney on their High Voltage tour and I was within reaching distance of Angus Young, no stage just a balustrade separating the legend from the crowd. To my left the tattooed man himself belting out those early tunes. There is even a google link to an article advertising the gig with the song list which I came across recently. Top video this Sean and brought back many fond memories 🤩

Nice bit of weather up there Sean good vlog again ,, I’m guessing it’s way too late now and you don’t like people telling you where to go , but if you’d cut across from Berwick on the way home to Coldstream there’s a marvellous free museum in there including free art exhibitions plus loads of views of fly fishing on the Tweed ,, then run down the lovely quiet A697 to rejoin the A1 north of Morpeth which misses out all the terrible bit of the clogged up A1 👍👍

Lucky you Clare , we love a bit of Coldstream , very friendly people there , as an ex long distance lorry driver of 46 years now I’m retired I love to explore so many of these places I just used to roar through when at work . As for Coldstream being ready for Sean I reckon they might honour him in that museum in the future 😂👍

Sean, AC/DC with Bon Scott was the classic lineup, Brian Johnson took over the singing sfter Bons unfortunate death, Brian Johnson was the lead singer for Glam Rock group Geordie early 70s, plus Brian is a real Geordie. I was a new wave, punk fan in mid to early 80s, ACDC is i think the only band other than Van Halen who had 2 different lead singers, and still carried in and and sild more records. Bon was an act of nature, early ACDC is my favorite period for the band then the Back in Black album. Love Nazareth with another great scottish singer.
