The ACHILLES RANGER! (High Roller) | Dark and Darker

Since the start of multiclassing in Dark and Darker, I've thought that achilles-ranger would be a disgusting combination, and I can confirm this suspicion to be true! This has to be one of the most solid multiclass options out there, and I admit I had a lot of fun playing this! Honestly haven't had this much fun on DaD since the start of playing it! Expect more vids!

Achilles spear is really good too. Smack em to kill their momentum if they’re on top of you and jump back to keep em at the tip of spear range. Very effective if you can do it right. Killed rogues, barbs, slayer fighters this way on account of my terrible aim.

Definitely another really good build! Some people out there are better than me, but I tried it, had some success, but ultimately there were too many counters for me to like it in a serious manner, although it was REALLY fun. I traded achilles for savage roar and I think I'm gonna make that into a video, I get more consistent W's with savage roar, it's just too good. But the combo of achilles spear is INSANELY fun and works well, I'm just bad at it LOL

With multiclassing being a thing, have you tried Achilles + Sprint for that infinite kiting potential?

I really want that build on my barbarian so I can keep Achilles on Ranger but I’ve been getting so unlucky 😭, I keep getting second wind which is good but I want sprint BAD! It’d be such a solid combo

I think adding poison weapon with surv bow plus those skills would shred.

@@dehzed also one of the last kills was me killing a pretty juiced rogue, rogues will always bully me in HR regardless of my class tho LOL
