Great explanation of the acid gene. Here, Rare Genetics Inc, is doing test for Hurricane. Are Acid /Confusion/Static and Hurricane the same? The lips and the bellies are incredible.🔥🐍🐍😀

Thanks! Acid is different to Hurricane - but as far as I know Hurricane is the same as Trick. There's also another gene that is the same as Hurricane/Trick but I always forget the name 😂

I think ur mixing up inc dom amd coDom. Incdom-no super, codom- super. And i highly diagree that doms have more pattern change then rec morphs

Incomplete dom genes have a different appearance in the heterozygous form to their homozygous form. This is why most people call the homozygous form a "super", an example being the Ivory morph, which is the homozygous form of yellow belly. Co-dominance is when genes produce a mixed effect when present in an animal. For example, pastel and cinnamon become co-dominant when present together and create the pewter morph, even though as standalone genes they are considered incomplete dominant. So strictly speaking, you could say that incomplete dominant genes can be co-dominant in certain circumstances. That might be why so many hobbyists got into the habit of calling incomplete dominant genes co-dom. Now a days we're being told that because co-dominance is a phenomena, rather than a strict gene type, we should stop saying it and only refer to genes as incomplete dominant, dominant, recessive, etc. What I'm saying is that what is important is that you know what genes will do for your projects. If you disagree with phasing out the Co-dom term that is a discussion to have with Morphmarket as frankly they kind of set the standard on this kind of thing. I hope that makes sense, and I'm being clearer than I was in the video. Thank you for watching!
