There is an ACTUAL saying in Hollywood going around "Male and pale is stale" which is just racist, sexist and absolutely a toxic mindset - this shouldn't be how anyone feels about any gender or race, yet executives have admitted multiple times that it's okay to hate white people, "you can't be racist towards white people, they aren't minorities" (despite that isn't how racism works, and depending on how you use the word "minority" as for example, Chinese are a minority in America, but have one of the largest populations in the world) To further explain - if you saw an actor in hundreds of movies and they always do a bad job, you'd think they are a terrible actor right? I mean, it makes sense - but what if they make their own movie and you find out they are actually phenomenal? That all those other terrible roles were because of bad direction or writing or only using a first take? Odds you might not think of that first - I mean, an actor doing this bad across so many movies has to be the fault of the actor right? Well that's how people feel about diversity in media - again, IT'S A GENUINELY GOOD MESSAGE, but it's constantly being used by terrible writers, companies that rush development, racists who preach diversity (for anyone who isn't white), and so forth. It's entirely possible to make a good story focused on LGBT+ or on other races, it's been done for decades! The difference is a shift in modern industries Anyway, point is, I get the sentiment of people saying "diversity is bad" though do agree they are misguided - ultimately I blame executives and the creators behind these projects for hiding behind a genuinely good message to sate their own greed, racism and prejudice ideals

Having a red lightsaber and using the darkside doesn't automatically make you a sith, dawg. It just means that you've used the darkside to bleed your saber's kyber crystal. Funny, I follow a sport where a team's CEO by all accounts harassed his female assistant. The team performed an "independent investigation" and found no wrongdoing on the CEO's part. Texts leaked and by all appearances it looks like he did do what he was accused of. The "anti-woke" brigade on social media has spend said last month saying he did nothing wrong since his employer absolved him, while arguing that she was just out for money, which she refused in a reported payoff by said CEO. Even the leaked texts of their conversations, replete with unwanted dick pics, are depicted as "fake." The people who are defending this CEO are the very same who whine about "wokeism" at every turn. It's hilarious. Bottom line, you "SJW" incels oppose women, period. Proof? You (pl) have been bltching about female directors and leads for years, whether they worked for Weinstein or not. I must say I was seriously impressed how Joe and the others didn't write this off prematurely like many other Star Wars "fans". The sequel trilogy was absolute garbage, and yes, wokeness had a part to play in that, but let's not pretend that it's all that black and white with Disney star wars like the anti-woke grifters would have you believe. The Mandalorian s1 and s2 were awesome, and I thought personally Ahsoka was really good, lots of awesome lore and depth. Say what you will about that show, but I've yet to hear a compelling argument to how Ahsoka was full of "wokeness". Stfu, it's fucking cringe, all of this. The lady who made Acolyte wanted to use mostly minority people in the show, who cares? Is she not entitled to do that, like white people representation is struggling in modern media? Fucking stop with the identity politics, you critics are just as bad obsessing over how many black people are in the trailer and such, fucking worms in your brain. Let the show come out, and we'll see if its bad or not, stop being npc's, I've had enough. I commend you Joe, Joe and Alex for being free thinkers and calling out this nonsense.

It's also seems also like they're going to expel her, because she's too tempted to goto the Dark Side, and not teach her in using the force or a lightsaber because they don't trust her. Probably she's travelling around trying to study the force on her own while being hunted by the Jedi because she's too dangerous to be allowed to learn to use the force. And that's why she's killing them, it's all in self-defence. Eventually the "good" characters will take her side and try to change the Jedi order / protect her, while some Sith characters are trying to nurture her growth, and she'll ultimately decide which side to be on, or just not choose a side.
