This is the problem with doing a show 100 years before the movies. If they introduce anything new, the first question is if this is so good why don’t they have this 100 years later? Lightsaber whip, cortosis armor, Jedi reading minds, etc. It’s a good thing the Jedi kinda forgot how to read minds otherwise the movies would have never happened because they would have figured out Palpatine was the Sith Lord in 5 minutes.

4:01 THANK YOU !! THIS!! They did this the whole episode! It couldn’t have been more blatant then when Mae asks Sol if he told her everything on Brendok…. “Mae what happened is..” power restores…. They stare at eachother for 5 seconds… then Mae WALKS OFF!!! So that SHE can communicate with the radio????? When it was Sol that was the one who cared to make contact… OH WAIT but now he doesn’t for some strange unknown reason! Now suddenly he cuts off communication and goes silent… it’s so dumb 13:15 there is is, the whole scene. You can see exactly what I mean! She stares at him and walks away lol! Oh man!! And that light speed scene where one departs and another arrives SECONDS later was so terrible I jumped out of my seat saying “WHAHATTTT?!???”!!! 🤮

nope episode 3 is definitely the worst, 6 is right behind it, 5 was ok and the rest is mid. The show could be considered mediocre at best, the lows are so much lower than the highs. Just like The last Jedi it would be better if it wasn't a Star Wars show and just it's own thing, more like a sci-fi Charmed CW schlock that you put on to wash dishes to. Star Wars and Star Trek needs to be held to a higher continuity to respect the work of the people whose shoulders the people at Disney are standing on.

New Star Wars writers seem to be sure that this is a story where good and evil concepts can be grey. But it is not, Star Wars is about the constant hardships of being good vs letting yourself be controlled by your emotions. These concepts are something people like the writers of this show can't fathom. As they feel personally attacked by Star Wars core ideas and the need for self control. This is the reason why they embelish the dark side of the force and criticize the light side of the force. Bad people can't talk about what GOOD is, they can only complain about it.

They stole the whole “Jedi only draw their lightsabers when they’re prepared to kill” from samurai movies. That’s part of the bushido code, that you don’t wave your sword around like it’s a toy and you only pull your sword if you’re prepared to kill with it. That’s why sometimes in samurai movies they’ll flick the sword out of the scabbard like an inch or two, that’s a warning to their opponent that they’re prepared to draw their sword meaning they’re prepared to kill.

I think it's supposed to be Plaguis's Island from his Legends book. Some people say this Episode tallies with the opening chapter description. Headland has mentioned there is more tie ins with Legends in the last episode.
