Evan is such a classy dude. Not fake at all and very humble. Very deserving of what he has.

Still glad Evan won, dudes so humble 🤘

Really a super cool guy. Humbleness is a good attribute, but too much could lead to underachieving. Hopefully the guy shoots for the stars. He has the potential to be top tier, I just hope he has the drive.
@JeffKendallWeed2 жыл бұрын
Oh man I get the vibe that he's got PLENTY of drive, and he just tones it down a bit when being social. Which makes him a great dude to ride and hang with!
@tobiasstock84322 жыл бұрын
@@JeffKendallWeed Yeah maybe drive isn't the right word... I was kind of referring to when he was saying he was hoping to get top 30 or 20 in EWS. I think he definitely has the potential to get higher, even though there is tough competition. I know it is the corniest thing to say ever, but I think the first step for him is for him to believe that he can do it. I'm no expert, and I have very little experience with professional mountain biking, but I can see that this guy has some talent for sure. I hope he will succeed even farther than he has made it right now. (Anyone reading this please understand this is my opinion- I am not an authority on this matter, I am just expressing what I think is true about Evan. Evan knows what he has to do better than anyone else. I am just a random guy commenting on the internet.)

I know these trails very well , and that manual on the rock roll at the start is mind boggling . Eye opening stuff for me, a shredder who can ride all the double blacks .

What a chill dude. I’ve only been riding for a year after some work friends talked me into it. I didn’t have a clue as to how friendly everyone is, especially when you’re stopped and off to the side of the main trail line taking a rest or whatever. Not one person rides past you without asking if you need help. Some others stop and just hang out. Next thing you know, two turns into three then 4,5,6. Besides pickup basketball I’ve never experienced that in any other sport.

Love that trail! I ride it slower and with far less style than you guys but it's always a blast! On the topic of meeting/seeing pro riders, the last time I rode that trail we went by Jackson Goldstone staging by his vehicle.

Oh shoot, I honestly had no idea. I couldn't think of any basketball players on the spot, and figured Dennis Rodman or Michael Jordan were too old school. I don't follow any stick or ball sports whatsoever. My bad!

@@JeffKendallWeed Yeah no your totally good, I just thought that was funny because it would be impossible to see him there. It wasn't an attack on your character. I don't follow those types of sports either anymore as I have gotten the adrenaline bug, and if there isn't a risk factor the sport isn't interesting to me anymore. Btw love your videos and your riding style. So clean and precise.

Expectations to do your best and see where you're at s a great way to start. Once you know where you fit, then you work to better that position. Little chunks at a time, and, if you stay healthy, you'll get a few wins under your belt! Shiny side up, no diggers.
