Nice video. Beautiful sheppard. Interesting gear. That looked like you'll be carrying 20# of water. In the desert always carry an emergency pint of water in case of heatstroke. Watch out for paws getting burned by hot sand. Enjoy this great adventure that you are on. Good Luck, Rick

Hey! Thanks for watching. We ended up heading home about two weeks after this video. Natas just couldn’t handle the desert and the route we took was just barren. He did great and I’m sure would have pushed on but it’s a risk I didn’t want to continue taking. Thanks for the support

@@YakoBako Good decision. A dog will trust you completely so you have to look after their best interest. I used to prefer cold weather camping but now I'm too old for any. Good Luck, Rick

@@YakoBako ... understandable. Just realize you may be carrying a virus without even knowing it into small towns along the CDT and being part of making a global pandemic worse. During this time, if we all just do whatever we want without regard to our fellow man then a lot more people could die. Food for thought. Also, with a selfish attitude (which you are free to have), you're likely to lose subscribers.

HikeRx I have taken quite a subscriber hit because of my lack to follow nationwide urges. It does not bother me one bit. Yet everyone is still going to work and continuing their global “Black Friday 2.0” shopping. I have done my part to reduce my exposure. You can’t tell a man that he must continue to work in these times if he can not also go on with normal ventures of his path in life during these same times. If everyone was ordered to stay at home and businesses would lose their selfish ways of extorting man in the worst of times, there would be no places for people to go because there would be no reason. Everywhere would be closed leaving people to stay home . This is not the case. Our country does not care about any of us. They care about how much they can make off of us in a time that the getting is good. Why is it that globally, sales have increased since this pandemic yet everyone is supposed to stay home away fr human contact? They want us to fail and stay enslaved to their guidelines which aren’t in place for our well being or our own best interests. I understand your concern and I wish people would heed the warnings. I’m not going to be the end all because I choose to stay at home. The billions of people out there working and shopping in a daily basis will be the ones to spread and contract. Greater powers are at work here and you all choose to ignore that this intervention in our life is greater than the virus and it’s capabilities.
