Ernie Hudson was a proof of concept, but this will historically be known as the moment where The Adam Friedland Show came into its own. Monologue underwhelming but segued into its own great pre-produced bit. The interview was genuinely strong, while basically every contribution by Adam was incisive, clever, and hilarious. Points to NDT for coming to play, whether he knew the show or not. The episode they'd always dreamed they might make. "Come on - Neil - You're a man of science. What's your hypothesis?"... A star was born. Also, I am gay and Adam is a bug. 🎉🎉🎉

@@DaseRowin Yeah, maybe humiliating is the wrong word - I meant it more in the sense of humility / humanizing. Seeing NDT, Ernie Hudson and even Norman Finkelstein being forced to engage with low-brow humor humanizes them. I tend to really dislike what NDT stands for in public ("scientism" - ie atheism, vax-pushing, creating a scientific priest class to control discourse), but you can see here that he seems like a decent guy who would be fun to hang out with. Not to be too philosophical, but you need a Diogenes to take philosophy, science, art, etc. down to the streets so it doesn't get too insulated from the concerns of real people.

Thats what I am saying this was actually really funny and Neil has a great sense of humor that episode with Steve-o was so one sided Nick and Adam were popping off and he pulled the old man card and stayed stoic through most of the episode instead of immersing himself in the comedy and having fun with it i walked away with the impression that Steve-o's grasp of comedy does not reach further then punching himself or one of his homies in the nuts which becomes a one trick pony really quick.

Dude I think the thing is Steve-OS humor is that of a small retarded child who thinks beating ur dick with a frying pan is the funniest thing in the world. I mean sure it's funny but there's no real nuance to it. I also think that the guy feeds off of being the center of attention in any social circumstance.
