10/10 film. Not usually into futuristic films but gave it a watch anyway cos it starred Ryan Reynolds and I must say it didn’t disappoint. Very heart touching even tho there’s lots of action, the father/son relationship bits and understanding why his dad was so busy and finally realising all his built up anger was due to having a broken heart, very self reminiscent of myself so made me choke up a bit. Overall 10/10 movie

After much thought, I have worked everything out in regards to explaining the ending. I will explain. There are 3 Adams in this movie and I will reference them as Adam number 1, 2 and 3. - 2050 Adam, number 1 - 2022 Adam, number 2 - 2018 Adam, number 3 1: The duplicate scene of where the mother is sorting out the house insurance at the end can only be Adam number 3. This is because we already saw Adam number 2 in this scene earlier in the film, where he was suspended from school and treating his mother poorly. The loving version at the end where Adam is not suspended from school is because the dad has learned to be a better father by spending time with his family instead of science. And this is whats enabled Adam to be a better version of himself. The mother also appears to have more time as she does not rush off like in the original scene. Its worth noting whilst they are hugging, both of their watches are plain in sight, which is symbolic for how they value time in this moment. This love and new value for time all stems from the fathers realisations. 2: The final scene where Laura says "i'm lost" Adam replies "Not anymore, I've found you". This is Adam number 2 in the future. A beautiful and emotional moment in the film, which definitely made me cry. The words I've found you is the giveaway here as to which Adam this is. 3: The saddest part in this movie is the outcome of Adam number 1. The scene in the hotel room when the dad asks him "And you, what do you need?" Adam gets very upset and replies "I need to go for a walk". This is because he knows when he returns to his timeline he will be alone without his Laura as she was killed by Sorian. There are also scenes in the movie to suggest his mum isn't alive in his timeline too, which would really make him alone. It shows he and Laura sacrificed everything including each other for their alternate timelines. Deeply saddening and heroic of epic proportions! I'm sure others may have worked this out whilst watching the film, but for me it took so much brain power haha. I feel so proud :)

Actually, I am confused about that. See in the mcu timeline, Leo Fitz (agents of shield) invent time travel in the year 2020, than Tony found it in 2023. This is what a film is. It may not be something like “The Godfather” or “inception” or something like that. But it brings you in and encapsulates you into the film. It’s well rounded…yet, I may be speaking with bias since I relate to the character Adam. Really helped me overcome some things in my life and realize a few things too. My wife and I (okay, me) have been waiting impatiently for this to drop. Saturday afternoon we dimmed the lights, turned our Dolby Atmos sound system up to 11 and let the magic begin. Levy may realize he created a multi-generational classic. Every scene invites multiple viewings, just to marvel at the perfect tone and tenor. Each scene just nails it. How they did that might not be possible to answer with anything other than that they all loved making and creating this with that extra zeal for greatness. The team clearly loved this and one another. I can feel it. I'm now going back and forth between KZbin interviews and specific scenes and it's still fantastic. We'll be watching this for decades. Congratulations to all and sincere thanks for this gift to humans who care about love, family and empathetic sacrifice.

I just watched it.. It was a fun and emotional movie that made me cry at the end.. I'm 41 years old and I lost my father when I was 26. I still cry when I remember him, I still miss him a lot.. And I wish there was a time travel like this to hug him again..

This movie is AMAZING! 10/10 What a great connection to all dads out there, whoever is missing their dads, who never met their dads, who wanted to kiss and hug their dads but just can't because they were not "used to". Love your mom and dads. Just tell them you do. Because you never know when it will be their last and might just regret it the rest of your life!

I watched this movie for the (Action movie) and got blind sided with this. Lost my dad at 12 years old (56 now) and lost my mom a few months ago I laughed and cried through the whole movie. This is going on my top 10 list of all time favorites and its right at the top.
