Yeah I live here in Stockton & we visit Oakland / The Bay Area to get out of sleepy Stockton. It’s really nothing to do here in Stockton or Modesto….the Bay Area is a lot more lively ESPECIALLY Oakland it maybe dangerous but Oakland reminds us of Baltimore or a smaller Philadelphia….Oakland has character & soul & it’s our favorite city in California as far as up north…..Southern California is much more energetic & exciting though.
