In '59, Ted was a DJ on WFAA in Dallas. He was also an accomplished musician and moonlighted playing the organ for patrons of Luby's Cafeteria in Dallas' Lochwood Shopping Center, obviously a skill he was able to later utilise for the show.

When I was a kid I used to watch this show all the time every afternoon the new whensday Adam's series is bizarre a new take on the characters and the movies are ok but still love the original

Fun Fact: Caroline Jones' Morticia walk was because they dressed her in an old-fashioned corset. Initially she was moving that way because the corset was uncomfortable, then she incorporated it into the character. Also, on the Mike Douglas Show she joked about not wearing underwear because the Addams Family set was so hot.
