Nostalgia! I was born in 94… they say children should go to bed early but I use to wake up at midnight to watch AS

The Bjork subplot is legendary. Her visibly deflating Space Ghost is one of the only times you see him in that light. She is forever Space Ghost's wife to me.

As a huge CN/AS fan, I celebrated Adult Swim's 20th Anniversary yesterday. One of these days, I will create my very own animated series for Adult Swim but with a UPA art style.

I very vividly remember being there for the first night of Adult Swim. I was only 8 years old, and had been anticipating the block ever since I read a TV Guide article about it a couple months earlier. Unfortunately, I could only watch the first hour before my parents made me go to bed. I thought Home Movies was ok, but it was definitely the type of show that was a little "over my head" at that age. The Brak Show, however? I thought it was one of the funniest things I had ever seen at that point. Which makes sense, considering it's a much more wacky, over-the-top show than Home Movies. And thankfully, most episodes (including these 2) are ones I can still get big laughs out of as an adult. So these first 2 episodes of The Brak Show are ones that still hold a pretty large place in my heart.

It's crazy to go back and look at Adult Swim's original lineup and see that all the shows are 100% gold. I also thought it was funny that Sealab is bad looking but later on, we'll get 12oz Mouse & Perfect Hair Forever, shows I personally like but man it's hard to look at sometimes. Adult Swim has always had quality shows and I'm glad I was able to see them back in the day. It's great to watch these shows again as an adult and fully appreciate them, it's like watching them for the first time all over again.

I'll admit once Space Ghost Coast to Coast aired on Adult Swim, the difference in aspects between the Adult Swim episodes and the previous CN episodes were significant, as while the earliest CN episodes were directed towards a family audience, the later ones that aired on CN progressively got towards Adult Swim territory (particularly episodes like "Curling Flower Space" and "King Dead"), until new episodes aired on AS. Though in my opinion, this was a good thing because it gave us some of the series' best episodes like "Kentucky Nightmare" and "Flipmode". There's also the GameTap episodes, but three episodes are lost media and CN and Adult Swim don't acknowledge them (or know about their existence anymore). I think "Knifin' Around" is a great episode for the most part, particularly the bits with Thom Yorke and Moltar doing a DJ voice to temporarily host the show, though some of Björk's scenes drag out a little longer than they should. "Piledriver" is definitely one of the show's best episodes, and Randy Savage as Space Ghost's grandpa Leonard is what makes it great thanks to his delivery on certain lines and the plot of him taking over the show while getting Space Ghost to go and actually fight crime (unsuccessfully) for a bit.
