The Advantage no one talks about...

Overwatch 2 Moira gameplay with an important concept explained. Attackers advantage is unknown to most people but often rewards the team that attacks first with an advantage which is especially powerful during the overtime rounds. I'll explain how this is an issue in this video.

a great junkrat can actually deal with echo, pharah, really depends on the player skill level on the hero even if the matchup isn't favorable to junkrat. So when ppl talk about hero matchups they don't consider the players skill level at said hero.

In gm, the odds are actually better that a non hitscan can still pressure pharah and echo, and both genji and junk are decent against them for projectile characters.

Not sure if you covered it but how do you use orbs against dva? She just eats them.

@kennythekrazed least favourite tank to play against period for me, just eats everything 24/7 it feels like. The amount of utility and damage she can eat with a button press is absurd imo.

As a Moira main, I just focus on heal orbs and waiting out her cool downs and positioning. Thing is moira's heal orb heals 300 vs the damage orb which can do 200 at best if a reeeeaally bad player doesn't dodge it. But allies don't tend to dodge heal orbs if they are good so the value of heal orbs is better to begin with. Dvas deal with damage orbs thrown directly at their team but have to force a dive to eat a heal orb. Its so much harder to eat for them. But if you must do damage orbs vs with a Dva on the team, you probably want to flank or attack their backline. Basically make sure you have your fade ready to disengage, attack from an angle where the dva would be slow to react and with some luck you can easily kill a backline unit or two with a damage orb, suck and melee combo and fade away before the dva closes in. Otherwise dealing with dvas is easier than you think in most cases. Since matrix doesn't deflect suck. Just suck her and if she targets you throw a heal orb down. she would have to use thrusters to pursue the orb so she will be on cool down to pursue you from a fade afterwards. Don't ever make it easy for a dva by getting in her face. She will eat all your orbs rocket you and when you try to run, she will still have her thrusters to pursue. Make her work for it and practice good positioning with your team.

I usually throw dmg orbs behind the Dva - like positing myself in fights so that the Dva pushes past me, throw the orb, then fade back to my team behind cover. Or just heal orb and M1 dmg.

But how about the att side, they know they didn't push the car far, and they need to defend in low ground and give up high ground. As your team have more time to att and you will know their setup on low ground, that should have benefit on your team to plan how to achieve to the check point, won't ? Also, your team has more time to att.

When I play Moira at the same exact rank even if I'm going sicko mode there's at least one obnoxious moron doing nothing for the team asking me to go Ana and then starts flaming me. I'll have a DPS that will flank, lose every 1v1 fight, and somehow find it in them to still blame me for their own loss. This happened enough times to where I just don't join chat anymore.
