It's cuz even though everyone plays the 'if you could go back in time and off the moustache man as a baby, would you?' they aren't thinking about moustache man, but their _own_ morality/justice. Instead, if you could go back, maybe the day he got booted from art school. Buy the painting he's carrying. Tell him to keep at it. Compliment his work. Where would that lead? I like to imagine an old, cranky german guy painting on PBS with Bob Ross. Bob's all positivity, and Mr. Stache-o is the sarcastic, eye rolling foil. Spongebob and Squidward. Life is a bunch of 3-way exits, and not many are numbered, so you can't tell if you're heading towards the bad side of town until you're already there. And once you are, all 3 exits are still *in* the bad part of town. You can only drive forward. We can't time travel. Our cars have no reverse.

Losing eyes was used as a punishment in King Lear, one of the characters believed in his liar son over his good son so he tried killing the good son, that son escaped and met him later on, the liar son took over the inheritance and teamed up with royals then plucked the dad's eyes out then left him to die, the dad then went out and met his good son again while learning he shouldnt have blindly trusted his other son

Being blinded seems like a pretty common form of punishment to tap into the idea that if you were mentally blind you should become physically blind as well. Off the top of my head Oedipus is another example though I'm sure there are numerous other examples

Swapping legs is the least practical heal spell. It just leaves both parties with legs that don't work. Can't they bring the bird to the Candy Kingdom Hospital? Do they have some of the Cyclops' tears lying around in a bottle somewhere? There's probably a thousand more useful ways to heal that bird.

The dream lasted a brief instant of long eternity, something about it caused Gork to smile but not to rouse. In the warp Mork too was disturbed. He dreamed of war spreading like a green stain across the galaxy. He saw billions of his children following giant warmachines built in his crude image on a great crusade. He found the dream good. Yeah that has always been one of my issues with the idea of how it is worded as it makes it sound as if power makes you into someone you are not when it just reveals another side of yourself. Though conversely can you really call someone evil for abusing their power when they gain it when that happens to the vast majority of people? It is fair to say staying a good person with power is the exception not the rule and it really requires a certain set of circumstances to be possible and exceptional moral character to resist.
