I always assumed that future Candy Kingdom looked like that because that was the result of PB and Aunt Lolly's kingdoms becoming one. In fact, when we saw Uncle Gumbald's own Candy Kingdom, it looked very city-like. Also I love the idea that Shermy gets his own Finn Sword who acts as a sort of mentor figure.

One thing that you missed was the weird human mutation/de-Evolution throughout the show. In stakes and islands special, we see the humans adopt animal hats for protection. 1000 years later to the present time in the show, we see some of those people evolve gills and live up underground, slightly less human than before. Finally, in the final graybles episode, we see the Gilbert be cornered by an underground beast that is oddly wearing a hat. I believe that those underground humans just reverted back into monsters after all that time

One vital detail I haven’t seen many people cover on the internet is the mushroom war reference in BMO’s distant lands episode. It turns out there were two bombs and a third event, which seems to be an explosion of a completely different origin. This third explosion is what created the crater in the planet, but we have absolutely no idea what it was. My theory is that, the mushroom war itself was primarily fought with nuclear bombs, however, that green catalyst comet that landed in evergreen’s era contained some sort of elemental essence of the Lich. Human society found this and attempted to harness it in some hybrid nuclear bomb, i.e. the mutagenic bomb. As this went off, the essence of the lich was able to spread and interact/ take control with a physical host. The third explosion I referenced could be another failed weapon, maybe from the opposing nation in the war

My thought in a theory for the scholars of GOLB is that in the scene “before their was time there were monsters” that all the monsters were GOLB scholars and when the monsters died out/ disappeared the lich called himself the last of the scholars. My other theory on that is the scholars of GOLB was actually a group of liches all from the time of monsters or created from the mushroom bomb with the lich(a little support for this is in one of the intros for the lich him and 3 others are walking out of the mushroom bomb explosion)

There's a good chunk of lore surrounding 1000+ and the pup kingdom, in steve wolfhard's blog theres concept art of future pups with bios and descriptions of their powers, some of them stricken out saying "extinguished at birth". Gibbon's learned powers are pink ice and power extinguishment, and beth (the pup princess) is stated to be exiled, a fugitive and an enemy of the state. Since every pup is born with a power it's likely gibbon has been controlling the entire kingdom by neutralizing his subjects, and he's either related to beth or has forcibly taken over her kingdom. The canonicity of this is shaky since it's a bunch of doodles by one of many people who worked on the show but it's still fascinating to think 1000+ ooo has a big narrative going on. (edit) and how could i forget, in lemonhope part 2 it's heavily implied the candy kingdom lost a war against the pup kingdom which sheds some light into pb's disappearance and the prize ball guardian's purpose

Humans in the future is super interesting. I personally agree with the theory that they’re responsible for a lot of the futuristic architecture and may have evacuated into space to avoid the comet. It makes total sense to me. Now, as for if they actually evacuated into space or if that was something more temporary (hence the space elevator being functional) we can only speculate, but it does seem like the humans are now a full part of Ooo somehow.

For me, I like to believe that there's just two Liches per universe now. Finn and the Lich, or the Catalyst Comet rather, *always* exists, each universe just increased in difficulty in terms of survivability as there are now more than one Lich. What's weird is that, the Lich is the last scholar of Golb, yet we don't see Golb in the "before there was nothing, there were monsters". I guess he really *is* entropy? Or just a creature of some kind? The wish-granting crystals Betty used allowed for her to fuse with Golb, which shouldn't be possible if he really *is* entropy.

I like the idea that humans fled to space, given Bravest Warriors, another one of Pendleton's shows, having future humans living on Mars in similar ways to the Martians of Adventure Time. So humans go to mars and join in to martian life, eventually surpassing and taking over Mars

An interesting piece of obscure trivia/lore is the character Laurel Princess who only appears in Ice King’s imagination zone in What Is Life? and I think is the only princess to not appear in Princess Day. Is she made up by his imagination? Is she dead? Is she not a registered princess? EDIT: I think the only other Princess who doesn't appear is the Orangutan Princess (I think that's her name) from Water Park Panic.

the people went to space because that's how we get bravest warriors. everyone moves to the old martian city and inhabit it, spreading through the solar system and galaxy. it's a lot like how in ursula k le guin's books, humans left earth so long ago we can't even be sure that's where we first came from
