Pat yourself on the back, that is a low dollar transmission fix! Honest mechanics are rare, but they still exist. The boat was beautiful, a guy could work and slave his whole life to afford the upkeep on a beast like that!

Nice video Brian,..drone views and camera views were great,.cool editing. And it must be a nice feeling to pick up an extra few dollars cleaning up the boats. That was a beautiful spot on that waterfront. I'm glad to hear that the end of the year will be your time planned to purchase another van. I know you have been wanting something with more room. If you don't get a box van, like you said you might, then I would suggest getting a van with a long wheel base, for lots of room. That's what I'm hoping to get. One that long, with a high top on it especially, really makes a big difference, giving you lots of room to breath and with more design options. There's good money in detailing boats. A friend put himself through 4 years of college by detailing boats in the summer in Fort Lauderdale back in the 70s. Those tug boats are cool. People often live on them. To me, they seem like the Class B's of boats.

I bet you would love living on a little boat! I have always thought that would be so cool! I love the water! I have a friend that her & her hubby (who is the son of a famous actor) live on a big sailboat and go everywhere with it! That is their home & its gorgeous! Years ago (and how they met) was that they were both into scuba diving. They got married and ended up buying a scuba diving school and taught people how to scuba dive. And this was in Ohio, LOL. But it was a huge success.

Glad to hear no major problems with the van !!! Gig Harbor will be one of the areas I want to check out on my RV Journey !!! I'm still delayed a few weeks before I can get on the road due to an injury but my journey from the coast of NC to the pacific north west will be great to see the different landscapes !!! I have had crankshaft position sensor problems in my PT Cruiser. Depending on the quality of the part It may last for a year(as happened to me) or it may last longer. I had to buy a Chrysler part after the mechanic installed a inferior part and it has been fine for 4 years. I thought it was a transmission failure also as it basically had the same symptoms as your van. Good luck and happy travels!
