Merry Christmas to you too. I also wanted to suggest that you get a little dark colored glass bottle with a dropper. Fill it with half white vinegar and the other half with rubbing alcohol. When you feel your ears getting a little itchy or irritated, Fill the little dropper about halfway up lean your head over and gently drop in your ear let it stay there for several minutes b4 your turn your head sideways and empty it on a paper towel and repeat on the opposite side.. Also sinus rinses work wonders. (Distilled H2O only) I have sinus and allergy problems myself. Take care 🙏

Brian, I hope you had a very Merry Christmas and also that you have a very Happy and prosperous New Year. I served 12 years in the USAF and spent many a year and many of the holidays alone and volunteering to work shifts for people who had family and children who really needed their father/mother home on any holiday. There was a certain beauty in being alone during the holidays once you get past the loneliness and you learn to enjoy the solitude.

PS Growing up holidays to me were very stressful as we traveled to visit family, rushed to setup meals for a large amount of people etc... Now as an adult, what I have grown to love being alone for the holidays and relaxing, making favorite/fun foods, watching whatever I'm in the mood for and do nothing stressful AT ALL. Also watch my favorite Xmas movie, DieHard, somewhere around this time. Christmas and my birthday, I make them a 'vacation' from all life stress for three days each solitude. The rest of the year can visit family/friends as normal and do all the other responsibilities of life.

Merry Christmas Brian. I’ve been with you since the beginning. Your stories have been so fun to watch. I turned 65 this year and haven’t made it out in the road yet but may still. Someone stole your sticker off my car. Lol. Must be a fan. My Christmases are a lot quieter than they used to be. When the kids were home we were a Navy family so we always had a lot of the young men come for dinner because they were lonely and couldn’t go home. I’ll go to my son’s house for dinner but kind of enjoy the peace and quiet. Lots of amazing memories. I’ve spent a few Christmases alone but with all the technology available it isn’t hard to talk to people. I’ve had a lot of changes this year as well. Change is good usually. I just got over an ear and sinus infection. They’re no fun!
