Wow. Was just scrolling through KZbin and this showed up on the feed. I was one of the Young Conans in this compilation doing the dialogue with Kalias (Greg Probst). Always wondered if anyone got my performances on tape. Thanks so much for posting this! Sonny Sison

Awesome job! If you're willing to, you could try and make this sort of thing with Miami Vice Action Spectacular, I really love that show, and I have a playlist of the show caught on vhs of some people's time at USH if you need for different shots.
@MicahDelhauer3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I'd love to do something like that, but it would be a long while before I get to it. I'm crazy busy right now. But go ahead and post that playlist here, and maybe one day...

I came back to this video and came across my old comment on my old account, completely forgot to send the link to the playlist! kzbin.info/aero/PLF1lpi6uMg7ShMVfJluAiqtQewewImmqH

You are missing the original effect of the evil men coming into existence. It was only for a short time. For safety reasons, they stopped doing the effects and moved all of the evil men into the laser tunnel.
@rollandtrann2olddeleted994 Жыл бұрын
what was the effect and how long was it there for? I know in one of the promos they have them come out from side of the top pillars
@roycem4945 Жыл бұрын
@@rollandtrann2olddeleted994 they were the four seated skeletons warriors between the pillars - the video which shows them jumping out is Universal Studios Tour - The Adventures of Conan: A Sword and Sorcery Spectacular TVC (1983) -- As I told, they changed it because they didn't want four simultaneously stunts with lots of smoke blocking their view to jump onto the narrow ledge and not fall off & pyro all being executed at the same time due to safety. There was no room for error x 4 performers for this one stunt for each show. I believe they changed it before it offically opened.
@rollandtrann2olddeleted994 Жыл бұрын
@@roycem4945 which would make sense, it definitely looks like a tough stunt to pull off, The A-Team Live Action show had a similar instance with the stunt where one of the rider's crashed into the building and another would jump onto a mat during the pyro setting off, it's scene in the promos but not in any of the vids I've seen of the show.
@roycem4945 Жыл бұрын
@@rollandtrann2olddeleted994 I recall the seated skeletons and the thrones they are on, are rigged to spring open or allow the stunt people to come through them. BTW: Did you see the recent accident at Waterworld stunt show Hollywood? The stuntman who (switches with the main actor) set on fire - had an accident. They stopped the show. As he was not breathing.
@rollandtrann2olddeleted994 Жыл бұрын
@@roycem4945 yes, I heard of the accident and watched the video of it, my guess is that he just didn't position himself properly when he was about to hit the water, as most fire deacons land straight feet first, this one didn't and landed awkwardly, he atleast positioned tucked before landing, but again I'm not sure.

Where did you get the footage that shows the close ups? I also see footage that looks like it was shot from somewhere on the stage during performance. I've never seen this footage before and would love to view the full run of it.

Some of them are from behind-the-scenes videos I found online (links below). Most of the really good ones come from a souvenir VHS I have called "A Universe of Cinemagic." There's also a copy of that online, but it's a later version and omits Conan and Miami Vice in favor of Waterworld. I'll try to fully digitize mine and get it uploaded sometime soon. I'm glad you found this so quickly. I thought maybe someone would stumble on it in, like, a year. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l6HIkKKIarOfsLM kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpTPmI2jr710ftE

@@MicahDelhauer I’ve been on the hunt for those souvenir videos. The one thing I hate about USH is that they demolish everything (except Water World). Nothing is from childhood :( I’m so thankful for USO and ET
