I constantly think the same thing. The didjeridoo, aboriginal inclusion in the dance, and the vocals at the end, make this the most inclusive version of I Will Survive I've ever heard. I don't understand why it hasn't been released.

This is the best part of the movie, in my opinion. When they do other shows, the audience is very indifferent and cold. No applause, people look bored. It's very frustrating. Aboriginal people are different. They are welcoming, clap their hands, show joy and even interact with them using their traditional instruments.
@pedroarthurbarbosa
@pedroarthurbarbosa Жыл бұрын
The other audiences are not indifferent and cold, they are just respectful of the artists who are performing! Comparing an outdoor scene with an indoor scene is a tremendous lack of common sense! You don't clap your hands when artists are performing indoors, much less shout or dance in a sudden way so as not to disturb the vision of others! This is a basic rule that any teenager knows!
@ApenasUmaEstoria

@@pedroarthurbarbosa you don't clap duringtheperformance, but show appreciation and clap at the end. This is common sense. 😒🙄 Try talk without insult, this calls "be polite".
@pedroarthurbarbosa

@@ApenasUmaEstoria Appreciation is something subjective, just entering a person's mind to know if he is appreciating or not, it shows how superficial his worldview is! Following your logic, no one appreciates an opera because they aren't smiling or dancing during a performance! Haha Ah, I would also like to know where I insulted you, could you tell me the words please! Or is being polite for you not contradicting someone?

Not only did the movie help my morale by making me laugh, but I loved Bernadette’s attitude and clothing. I mimicked her style and countenance during those wretched three days in court. When film gurus talk about hundreds of millions to create films where everything flies through the air except creative intelligence, I remember Priscilla, her simple plot, her modest wandering through that desert that we ourselves are, the few pesos, hard, pennies that it will have cost, the quality of its protagonists, the choice of an unmissable musical band, and that talent of the director who subtly takes your hand and takes you for a walk through everyday emotions. How little life lasts and how little fun we have ...

Hugo clearly was trying to be as stereotypical of a drag queen as possible-and did a frogging marvelous job! But the movie does provide a moving portrayal of the struggles gay and trans people have endured even so recently; being viewed as freaks and having to live on the most extreme fringes. The openness for them to live freely is a very recent thing.
