Funny thing about this is Spot the dog was a childhood favourite of mine but my best friend Tom was absolutely terrified of this as a child particularly scared of Tom the crocodile.

I wonder why in most of the British and Australian releases it was like this... Mr. Kangaroo (Australian Accents): Hey! Narrator: (Engish Accents) Mr. Kangaroo wasn't too pleased, when he saw Spot standing on the grass cuttings. The one which was "Get off my nice of grass cuttings you naughty puppy! Shouted Mr Kangaroo. Spot ran off." was very rare.

When he yelled at Spot, "Hey, get off my nice pile of grass cuttings, you naughty pup," while shaking his paw like a fist, he was like that grumpy old were who chases bairns out of his yard with, "Get off my lawn!" By bairn, I mean a "child" and it is a Northern English, "Scottish" English, and "Scots" word that came from the Old English word bearn, which was the usual word for a "child" in that language. By were, I mean a "man" in the sense of an adult male man and it came from the Old English word wer, which was the usual word for a "man" in that language. By adult male man, I mean an adult male "human."
