Yooooooo!!! Man, I was so excited when you mentioned me (especially like that "this guy does not play around" or "he does very interesting speeches" etc.) that I went crazy!! I'm soo happy you showed my decklist, I appreciate that so much and can't wait to see it in action! Woah... Now that I'm a little more calm, I'll say the choices I made during the course of these days and the watch of this video: 1) I agree with you and some people in the comments that Eclipse is very strong, maybe stronger, so (as much as I don't like to discard like that) I will give it a try later on! 2) I swapped Crocodragon (my flex spot) with Bubble Reef: I don't really like ending the board with her and still prefer King Nepty, but sometimes happens that I don't have enough free zones, so being able to just link 1 monster off for her feels good and gives me the possibility to play something like Ran Aegirine, that needs 2 free zones. I'm still not sure about the choice, and honestly I think I prefer yours, so I'll try that one too! 3) The missing sidecard was Gozen Match, I forgot to add it😅 but you know what? Playing the thrust package is enough, and I think (for decks like Lab, but also just for backrow in general) the Marksman is just objectively a better option. Good job mate, can't expect less from you! 4) Yeah, maybe you're right Mannequin combo does not give you that incredible ability to continue the combo, but just stopping Shifter is great! I mean, you have Diva: a starter, that is also anti-Shifter, and once you've stopped it you can just reach for Rhine and summon Coelacanth, so you're not screwed that easily! But I still get what you mean, maybe crossout could be better, idk. I don't like having a possible dead card in my hand tbh. I'm still so grateful for the shoutout mann, that was great!🙏 Cheers man, stand proud! The next paragraph is for commentators, but you can read that one too!👍 1) For who says droplet is better, guess what, you can't chain droplet to an ht to send Diva as cost if you go first! 2) Diva is a personal choice, I just think having 7 one card combos is better than 4 (Dragoons and Shadow Squad does not count as one card combos, they require to be discarded). Wow, that is pretty much everything, still can't believe you put me in the video... maybe I'm overexcited, but can't do anything about it! Cheers man, I know you red till here! ​​​​@@deepseaygo250 I tested out Eclipse, for aproximately 5 games where I actually used it, and I came up with these conclusions: Even if as breaker is better is not that relevant, since against: 1) Azamina Snake, can only book Flamberge and Silvera, while Masquerena and Amblowhale remain face-up on the field; 2) Tenpai, you have to stop Paidra or Chundra before they can do anything, so BoM is enough for 1 monster; 3) Yubel, can only book Phantom and Desirae, while Soul of Rage remain face-up on the field; 4) mirror, you lose either way. So the impact it has is about the same as BoM, with the difference that: 1) your opp could draw on End Phase; 2) you can still use BoM to make your board stronger, setting it and using it as an interruption in the opp turn (BoE can't since you would book your monsters too). Regarding White Aura Porpoise, it's very strong, maybe it doesn't come up often, but when it happens you feel the difference! Altough I would still try Bubble Reef out cuz the ability to: 1) free one of your monster zones; 2) draw 1 and cycle the Anemone in gy; 3) make Zealantis on top of it; all feels so great! (I'll probably main it tbh, but I have to choose where cuz Zealantis is good in theory but it almost never comes up so I'm thinking about take it off) That's it man, I'm still overhyped for the upcoming video!! @Redrockyt_ I’d love to share my list with you and have your thoughts on it. I currently am playing 2 small worlds and 1 diva instead of 3 divas but I’m also not on BoM. I prefer that ratio over 3 divas because small worlds can be whatever water monster that you need. I don’t play coelacanth / levirtue virture stream nor minstrels (although I’m currently thinking of cutting a teus for one minstrel because of small worlds). I won 3 games at locals only summoning Lancea Ancestral Dragon of The Ice Mountain. Once under shifter Fuwalos, Once under shifter alone and once under Droll. Lancea is MVP for the grind game / to play vs droll and shifter and going second it truly does it all ! I also really like this build because you only play 3 bricks Raiho / Mouling / Infantry

@@Marvin_Red well, happy to give you my thoughts! I'll start by saying I know how strong Lancea is, Raiho just does it all, the only reason I don't play it is cuz I don't want to play Ice Barrier😅 In that case yours is a great list, cuz you don't need Minstrel as a combo piece and (even if I suggest you to play it anyway) you also don't need Coelacanth, since you can add Ran, special Ran + token, and summon Lancea (Yeah, I do think it's better than Gymir)! Regarding the small worlds, while I do think it's very strong; I like to play Diva at 3 to stop Shifter, but why would you ever wanna do that if you can just search Nepty and go for Lancea-Raiho? Finally, since you don't play Levirtue you probably went for Crocodragon am I right? Either way, it's a good deck, but remember that is called "Mermail Ice Barrier" and not just "Mermail" for a reason!

I think it's less about being lazy and more about just getting out of ur comfort zone and trying new things even if u think it might not be optimal or correct. I spend alot of time in theory land and nvr and actually practice ideas

Yeah I would suggest book of eclipse over moon if its there to help dodge in that senaro you would only have diva on field and way so it wouldnt matter. Its also a stronger breaker.

Mannequin Cat is extremely based, but this community gets waaaayyyy too caught up in convincing themselves "could" is the same as "is" (like in playing Coelacanth/Diva). Genuinely hope it performs, and hope the engines continue doing well mid next year, because I would like so many people to be right.

I’m not convinced Book of Moon is the right choice here. Given the current speed of the game, it doesn’t offer enough impact, and any monster it targets would still be taking up a valuable monster zone as a dead card. I think we drop both Bookamoon & Diva and focus on strategies that play through hand traps. Ultimately, we have more effective options than Book of Moon.

You can banish all monters your opponent controls without summonig them back(if they are not water) because Coral Anemone.

@@JONEZSV650you can summon it any way: up, down, left, right, atk, def. 😂 Some of the New mermail cards lock you into water as well. So zealantis effect can be used without coral.
