I did mess up G1 of the match I made Lacia with coral and I cant do that. I would still have toad and king, but I would not have been able to pop his xyz. Not exactly sure how tht game plays out then..

Fuwalos is really not good against the top decks except this deck and Yubel. Definitely something to look at in the coming weeks up until the regionals because the meta might flip flop between playing it or not. I think you should commentate what the opponent is doing. That play through nibiru was insane

Been a huge Diva advocate since I figured out that Teus/Rhine + Goons ends on Nept/Double Toad/Dragite through Droll + Nibiru haha. Very corner case but the fact the possibility to do so is there, is pretty crazy.

(Perhaps something you learn from Lancea control?! 🤣) Also, rip Lancia Control (you are not playing it next week 🥲) What do you think of siding Impulse instead of LS and Feather duster. Really good card into FS / Rogue decks and Maliss. It also helps going second to stop a nibiru from resolving.

Hey man, sorry I was to busy with school and finished your previous video today (after 10 days!) 😢 But honestly the only thing I noticed was the One For One debate and I stand with MarvinRed on it... tho this opinion is just for me, and I would play SW in this deck too (idk if you noticed, but Shif is almost a perfect bridge; it misses only Infantry!) But now let's talk about this deck profile... I see you went for a Coelacanth-based list, and on a first look I was skeptical; but MAN, I tested out all possible combos, under Shifter, Droll, even the "standard" combo (non-Coelacanth one)... your deck is awesome! 1) Coelacanth works under the worst floodgates this deck can suffer very well, so prioritize it over "standard" combo is a great choice! 2) To reach Neptabyss without SW you have 4 '1cc' ways, 10 with '2cc' (Dragoons, Squad) To reach Shrine without SW you have 12 (!!) '1cc' ways, 18 with '2cc' (again Dragoons, Squad) ...a lot more! Almost double! 3) You play less bricks (Virtue Stream) and you have more free slots in the ED (armor fortress etc)... also, you consume less cards in your ED for the combo! 4) Even the "standard" combo is super strong! (ends on 4 interruptions, more than enough XD) I gotta admit, at first I disliked your list when I saw it, but since it was YOUR list I was willing to try it out; that's the best choice I could've made! I even tried to search deeply for negative aspects, but they were so few and so well-compensated I had to just ignore them... I just couldn't believe a version like this to be this good! I never thought I'd say this, but a version centered around Coelacanth is better than the "standard" one! Gongrats my man, you really opened my eyes. So happy you exist! Merfolks for life!❤️🧜‍♂️

Az-ee-mia is a new pronunciation I’ve heard for Azamina. You got askaan pronunciation correct. I know you probably don’t want to buy the card but putting Fuwalos in the side might just be the play to secure games against rogue matchups (or the mirror). And if you are feeling like Zealantis is not working out, it does seem like you can make a small presence through D Barrier. So you could play Abyss Keeper for when you draw coelacanth Also when is the regional? I have one the 5th but am probably playing Yubel assuming I get my cards in on time.

Love your Video. One thing to note is, the way you arrange that prince combo plays into nib instead of droll, it's kinda a pick your poison kind of problem. Also, if you get drolled on prince you can't add moulin because dragoons has a seperate chain. Instead of shif, try greedy gluttenous it's better under shifter and also sets up insane boards

I’ve only tested against Ryzeal. When we go first Ryzeal cannot break our board. Going second we do have trouble with breaking their board and hand traps don’t really work against the deck.

Great job. In game one: we can stop giving back monsters unless it’s game. sending his monster back to hand and looking at hand/draw two was probably the better play.

One thing I don’t understand truly is why you like one for one better than Small World. One for one sends for cost, so it trades badly into handtraps, it plays more into handtraps (can be impulsed) where as Small World needs to resolve to become a -1 and plays a bit less into handtraps. I would honestly play 1 Small World over one for one !

Good stuff vs RA you boiled his booty 🙏 that hand game 1 was probably never getting to moulin without going through a very janky line so it was completely fine to never use it Now vs Ritual beast. At 11:37 you were right in thinking that going for either megalo or teus instead of coelacanth, why? Because we know his only real interruption is steeds for 3 pops. So going for pike discarding goons to get shrine is good, but pivoting the shrine into grabbing either megalo, teus, or even ran aegerine, and letting shadow summon dine (pretty sure you didn't open her), would force him to go for a very early steeds because now you threaten him with poseidra and he gets cooked so hard by that

With the new support mermail/atlanteans got would you say it’s more xyz based now and should only be played that way and not utilizing more synchros like the level 10 ice barrier mountain dragon, trishula, Adamancipator, the level 10 swordsoul, etc. I ask this because those specific cards are based on negating cards and banishing from grave to activate effects. I love your videos and has helped me with trying to re-learn the deck with the new support. Always send your opponents to shadow realm wet 🤣

Love the content, love the post match commentary and breakdowns. When it comes to water decks, I'm not a huge fan of the 50+ cards in the main, but I understand testing other ppl's lists to zero in on your own.

Similar to the coral thing you experienced, I can’t tell you how many times I go for the poseidra bring back 3 from grave play with only 2 spots available 🤦🏻‍♂️ always forget it’s exactly 3 and not up to 3 lmao

Wonder if marksman would be a good add in if you’re playing moon/eclipse? I cut Levirtue from my list, being able to add back is dope and the trap is good but man.. with a such a tight extra is hard not to find better stuff 😭

That double fuwalos punish is rough 😂 - something I'm testing now is (for the lvl 3 bricks) are just gunde and dine, so that if you draw either then you can cycle through them and still get multiple bodies (gunde summon dine, dine revive some other bozo for example) G1: Eclipse at exactly at this point 3:41 after extra normal'ing rampengu (before he can use rampengu) does cook him, he could banish but it doesn't really get him anything worthwhile G2: Eria pitch goons search goons, goons seach Nept was definitely better - since you have shrine you dont really care if they droll you tbh. Tbh you could have sent Gymir off for Toad instead to clear the anemone zone and not get called by'd (toad sends any auqa from hand or field, doesn't have to be himself). G3: Sad face :(
