The Adventures On Sodor S1 Ep 9: Crank it Cargo

When the Vicar plans to host another garden party he asks Edward, Thomas and Toby to become the main attractions, but it doesn't go all to plan. Meanwhile BoCo has a run in with Cranky when he's unable to pay up a bet the two made on time.

I love seeing Thomas's fussy and impatience in this story, it almost felt like a Thomas & Friends esque story along with Sandy and Martha's stories. This episode is a step up compared to the Twin episode, as the swapping jobs was already done, even though in your series, Bill and Ben had to have a grudge with Donald & Douglas. The Cranky and BoCo subplot is not bad, it's perfectly recreated and has a reason why BoCo gets injured for losing a bet from Cranky's temper.

The only problem I had with the subplot is that it was a direct copy of the Family Guy gag. To make it different, it would’ve been better if BoCo beat up Cranky DURING the second beating he received. Before anybody says this is out of character for BoCo, it’s not: he may be a nice diesel, but everybody has limits. "Beware the nice ones" exists for a reason.
