It seems I've made a couple of mistakes during this demo, so please read this pinned post for futher clarification! When I demo the NAND output, it behaves similarly to the AND output. This could be because the triggers sent by Euclid Grid are so short that the AND and NAND outputs (rising signals) are basically the same except for a very short delay. A big thankyou to Robert Schwarz on my discord for pointing this out! I'd also like to add a comment here left by Sean Luke on the AE Modular discord server in reaction to my video. It seems I made couple of mistakes with this demo, so hopefully this can clear up any confusion. Here's what Sean said to me - "At 3:26 you say "let's start with NAND". And that's what you hook up. But the function being described is AND, not NAND. So call me confused. AND is high when both its inputs are high, and low otherwise. NAND is LOW when both its inputs are high, and HIGH otherwise. In your example, your have a trigger sequence which, presumably (I don't have that module) outputs a high trigger on each drum beat, and when they match the drum gets a high trigger? But that would be AND.... I think what's happening is that with NAND, it's normally outputting HIGH, and when two matching triggers come in, it goes LOW, but then when they both stop triggering it immediately goes HIGH, which the RBSS interprets as a trigger."

I like how you've used the SWITCHMATRIX as a kind of sequencer in demo 2 and am looking forward to your video on that module 🙂

@@robsch thanks man! That was a fun patch to throw together. I'm really liking the switch matrix right now :)

Another great watch mate. I had forgotten you can use audio through Logic. On patch 3 what source were you using for the higher waterdrop melody? Also liked how you were working the bass on that one too 🙂

Thanks heaps man! From memory, that sound was made using the Wavetable module, with an envelope modulating the wave. It's then sent through a filter, with delay and reverb added at the end 😊
