Oh hell yeah, im glad you tried to do the ceiling slide. Its one of my favorite tricks despite it being useless and possible only in like one or two rooms in vanilla game lol. Its just fun to do and it suddenly became useful in this mod

I'd love to say I enjoyed this mod, but the creator relied so much on one-ways and extreme platforming it sapped the fun out of it. It honestly feels like the designer forgot time was a killer in Rain World. That you would spend multiple cycles exploring from 1 shelter. Instead, every platforming challenge was met with an instant kill fall and no way back if you did make it. Especially the ones that introduce the wall slide mechanic. There was never that mix of multiple routes to get to the same area just to avoid the one lizard blocking your path. I can understand an area being for more seasoned players but in doing so it lost its charm to what made the main game such a thrill to explore.

there'll always be that one kind of person that fixates on a game's movement tech and platforming and completely forgets that the game is also supposed to have lore, survival, fun and a point

man im sorry but this is easily my favorite mod. Massive, wonderful to explore, and provides a wonderful challenge. I killed so much time during quarantine just exploring, this mod has and always will hold a very special place in my heart.

Btw i noticed u died a lot in this one place where u have to crawl in tight tunnel and then there's this abyss u can fall into before getting into another tunnel, can't tell from the video if u tried it but u can actually just slightly poke ur head out of those and do a leap jump. Hope that helps if you find yourself in similar situation in the future!

maybe the aether ridge was an iterator, it makes sense, the transform arrays, the tower, the heat ducts, the Daddy Long Legs.. perhaps what would happen to Pebbles when the DLLs spread to him

The only gates are to sky islands and subterranean. I guess you could use the region to cross between those areas, but I think aether ridge is mostly just there to be explored
