Not sure why anyone would talk negatively about art. Everything these guys do makes me feel something.

Agreed, in interviews & LIVE gigs from 1988 - 1992 Dulli looked GREAT! He looks even better NOW than during the entirety of the mid-'90s until this year! View their LIVE set at 'Austin City Limits Music Festival' in 09.12. Greg & John Curley LOOK as though they've been eating healthy, working-out quite a bit, and no longer smoking or drinking (which he SHOULD HAVE *NEVER* been doing since he's suffered at least moderate 'Bi-Polar Disorder' for a long time, well before his diagnosis in '98). : )

When I first got into them in 1994, I was just down the road in Grove City, PA.

@@lambjack1 Been there and love the Outlets, obviously. But I’m not much of a shopper. Only there once or twice in 37 years lol

@ascar1nthasky03 Outlets were being built in 94. Nobody was a fan. There was a great bar across the road called My Brothers Place. Once I went to Quaker Steak in Youngstown. Good folks out in western PA and Ohio. I miss it.

This is amazing, most of the early whigs stuff is such bad quality video. Greg is great in these interviews. Is there any more of this? Thanks for posting.

Why did he say it then

That must've been some sort of SubPop marketing strategy. I recall Reverend Horton Heat having a backstory about being "in and out of juvenile detention centers" and a reputation as a delinquent which he claimed is a load of bull but was a strategy to give him some edge.

it was something he thought would be funny to convince people.
