Just a bit of detail as I'm halfway through this, I love the concept that Mrs. Afton's name has so much meaning to it. It's an interesting concept that honestly adds to the idea that most people tend to say she is uncanon to the fnaf universe. It also gives a bit of trouble when the afton kids find our her name, almost as if that's a hole they needed to fill in and once they did, they wanted to dig it out or cover it properly. Awesome detail!!✨✨

I just realised something about the animatronics in the household (this may be an au change idk). There's a "hunting mode" that all 3 of them have. You just showed nightmare and Goldie's hunting mode, and in a past video you showed Ennard's. Though I would like to point out that Ennard's hunting mode is way different. For one, he's in control of himself- while he's more smart and beats Mike in the game quicker, he never actually causes damage and in the end he even seems playful. Apparently he can also control when to turn on his hunting mode, because Mike got mad at him for it. As we can see, Nightmare and Goldie's hunting modes are not the same, with them being totally out of control and hunting CC, eventually hurting him. Like their past selves. I know their programming is very different, though I still wanna know how the hunting modes work and if the other animatronics have them. They seem interesting lol (Just saying the video was kinda old so it might be an au change, but Idk)

So, in my opinion I think William did have a bad past that contributed to the way he acted and the way his mindset was as an adult, but I do not think he was an experiment or at least in the way most people think. One of the reasons being I think he wasn’t an experiment due to the timeline of when this would happen. I think it’s similar to those murder documentaries where the person had an f-ed up childhood or they were never taught right from wrongs. Another possible way is he was an experiment but did not go to a lab. Maybe doctors would tell the parents of how different their son was from other human beings and just analyzed and observed him over the years. Or maybe they took him to a therapist to talk about his thoughts which could possibly go along with why he hates telling people about his personal life.
