Thx so much... And I would agree.... The Gransfors is something we know... And something I would pick myself. But I do believe (maybe not here at camp) but the ADK26 is just like a 🪛....I will work all the time and get the job done 🙏 But glad you had a look and thx for the positive feedback

I think the stress test of standing on it doesn't really make sense. Since the forces that joint will see on impact are front to back, not side to side. Unless someone is using it as a leverage tool which I think would be abuse for that kind of 2 piece handle.

Would you say the Agawa 21 is an ideal companion to the axe? let’s say you had the Agawa 24, and you cut an 8” wide tree with it, so you think you could chop an 8” wide piece of wood with that axe? or would it better suited to chopping 5”-6” wide pieces 🤔 thanks!

Ohhh i am from Denmark so I think in centimeters... I would say this.... I won't become a forest axe or beat one in a chopping competition. But as a pack down tool for camping... hiking.... semi survival training. I will work and function as a tool. 🙏 very well ... P.s. chopping down trees in Denmark with axes doesn't exist. All is done with saws and chains. So the axe here is a hobby.

I’m not sure why everyone makes this so hard. A GB small forest axe doesn’t have a hardened poll. Therefor, as a camp axe, it is inferior to every single other axe that has one. Stop putting that axe on a pedestal.

Hey man thx for reaching out.... I have done everything above and beyond with that axe....and never failed ..dulled... chipped or anything.. as for the pole being hardened. Never had anything to say.
