The Age of Orton. Randy Orton at this point showed why he belonged in the top of WWE. He had awesome matches with everyone. John Cena, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho and Jeff Hardy. Randy Orton's remarkable title reign remains one of my favorite from this time period. Orton gained that aura of a main eventer around him and he ran with the ball. I remembered when Randy Orton put Shawn Michaels in a hospital, then feuded with Dustin and Cody Rhodes. Then he assaulted John Cena's dad, then put John Cena out of commission. Then he became WWE Champion in late 2007. I watched it all as a kid.

One of the greatest WWE title runs of all time. Even though he was already an main eventer, major star, top heel and top guy from Legend Killer days, Orton went from being a cocky jerk to a evil sinister human being. Throughout 2007, he was literally the #1 top heel in WWE thanks to his vile attacks on Flair, Slaughter, HBK, RVD, and Cena. The Age Of Orton also help cement Randy's legacy even more in WWE. One of my favorite runs ever.

Randy Orton's often over-looked baby face run of 2010 was was excellent, people were genuinely behind him and he came across an organic badass rather than being forced to look like one. 2009 Orton was the last thing that WWE executed perfectly. It was a two year build drawing off of Orton's frustrations for two straight years. The result? A viper who doesnt care how he can hurt people, as long as he hurts people. They should have NEVER turned him good in 2010. Could have put him on Smackdown to feud with Edge instead of having the legacy triple threat at Mania 26. But meh.

In hindsight, I couldnt agree more. He hasn't been the same since being drafted to SmackDown in 2011. The 2007 Orton after the Rated RKO breakup all the way to his tweener period where he was still the heel-like Viper in 2010 was his peak. Should've never turned face...ever again. Have him be the opposite of Cena, never turning face and sticking to his ways as a villain. Lotta potential there.

Wrestlemania 24 the first pinfall loss of John Cena in WM and his Streak got broken. He won every match from Wrestlemania 20 to Wrestlemania 23. Best video up to date keep up the good work💪🏾

Orton and Cena had 10 singles PPV matches and 5 of them were Normal matches while the other matches was special stipulations matches: Normal ones: SS 07 Unforgiven 07 NWO 08 SS 09 RR 14 Special ones I Quit (Breaking Point 09) 2 Hell in The Cell Matches (09 and 14) Iron Man (Bragging Rights 09) TLC (TLC 13) Also Both of them are tied with 5 wins each 🤷 Edit: I forgot to mention that 9/10 of their Matches was a World Title Match

I Loved this and the Rise of the Legend Killer video so Much It brought back so many Memories,I have been a Die-hard RKO Fan since 2003 I was Amazed and Blown Away by him He was Always my Favorite in Evolution he is The GOAT in my Opinion. in 2004 he Became the Youngest Word Champion in WWE History I was so Happy for him when he won but I do agree he wasn't ready he had all the tools to The Top Guy in WWE in 2005 he Proved it with his Classic Feud with the Undertaker What an Amazing Rivalry that was one of my all time favorite WWE Rivalries.Now fast forward to 2007 He was on the Top of his Game as a Top Heel it was only a Matter of time for him to be WWE Champion it Finally happened at No Mercy I was so Happy for him He went through Worked his Ass off to Win the Title 2 Times might I add Yes he had some set backs back in the day but he was Young we all make mistakes I think he has learned from them and Became a Better Man and An even Better Wrestler!!! Loved the video and the title reign even though I started watching wrestling right before Wrestlemania 24 But you forgot to mention that Triple H had the power to book Cena/Orton VS The entire RAW roster because Regal gave the GM status to Cena one week, then Orton the next week and finally Triple H the week after. IMO I loved the idea of having Triple H be smart enough to book this one of a kind match and to me the entire roster wasn’t buried because Cena and Orton only destroyed the lower card wrestlers and the match ended with a DQ because the midcarders had enough

Great work. That being said I have recently gone back during this quarantine and binged watched a ton of raws. I’m in late 2009 and OMG Orton became super boring. But this is were wwe was going in this time. Heels cutting super long winded dragged out promos. Orton, Jericho, JBL, Straightedge Punk, Kane, the list goes on and on. During the time, sure it was a good direction but I couldn’t rewatch a lot of his stuff anymore today, it just drags on too long
