One nice thing is that there is a non-upgraded electric wrench and screwdriver that can be enabled via the accessibility settings. It is slower than the upgraded electric one. However, it also makes it so you don't have to wobble your mouse back and forth if is messes with your wrists (or just don't want to deal with the motion). You can still buy the normal electric tools. A bit of a glitch I found is that if you buy the upgraded electric tools and then enable the electric tools in the accessibility options it will immediately give you the upgraded ones without waiting a day.

I'm still terrible at it, and I usually just look up a guide for it. At most, I'll spend about 20 minutes a session trying to puzzle it out myself. 39:00 when the rebreather planet is spinning like crazy without the pancake, stuff will actually fly off if you leave it's compartment window open. You actually lost 2 of the original trees it came with and I think it's feeder as well. I thought I was losing my mind before I finally noticed.

I honestly breezed through the first day of the game without reading the Grimoire because of your videos….. and then I ran into the AI for the first time. For the reactor you should look at the job list to see if it require cooler or fuel fixes. If it’s both, first thing you need to do is remove the core. Press the a button on the security screen, then follow the instructions in the book. Without the core the ship won’t explode on you. Then, fixes the other things and place the core back, and if you do things right it will stabilize

I think the time slot loss from the giant red flying thing is for the current day, not the NEXT day. So you used the one and only time slot you had left for the day because it came in the last time slot :)

It was really cool when i realized it can pay off to play with wires in modules liek the ai, you can alter how xp packs distribute points by using the corresponding slot and plugging the cables into various spots, and even preview what it will change by just toggling the selection about. Though rewiring that switch in the oil module to let you drain heat without having to hold down the red button there is a pretty simple but fun use. Really fell the game missed out on set ups that really reward custom wiring. imagine being able to go forward at twice the speed in vr by splicing the up and down arrows to forward together, so if you press both it doubles the input. It feels a bit sad the best module to let you play with wires is the anti tamper one, which most people struggle to understand the first time doing it, despite it being actually really darn easy to do. (simply telling players that the cell the serial number tells them to start on means they need to do the action the symbol in the cell corresponds to, to ANY wire to get directions to the next step would clear up so many issues.) and punishes a few mistakes with quite a hefty fine. hell, let me snip wires in the reactor somewhere to reduce stability loss when preparing to replace the core or something.

I didn't notice your voice sounding different, then I remembered I have AKG K702 lying around. After using them I can confirm I hear pretty much no difference, lol. Maybe, and it's less than 5% difference, old one had more bass and raspier sounding voice, and worse pop filter at times. Louder BGM in this one makes it even tougher to compare. P.S. I'll be waiting for new Opus Magnum episodes when your brain recovers from all the cooking :D

47:50 tldr try reversing the code I think the orientation of the "fraction" square in the code may be important. Notice on the washing machine, the fraction button has red on top. Orienting the code so the fraction appears correct reverses the code to be "box gray box fraction gray orange"

I'll repost some of the code stuff from the last video. You were in the right track with the numbers to letters thing, but after the first one (NINE), you'll need to consecutively shift every word one letter back (a Caesar Shift). Also to note, there's to secret symbols on that page, so there's probably something else there. The xx.[??????xx] with that spiral design seems to reference the Riemann Hypothesis. After a few hours of searching through the Wikipedia article and Google, I think the answer for that is the "first (non trivial) zero for the Riemann Zeta function" or in other words, 14.13472514. Again, the number 14 is highlighted here, in this instance as the "xx". I assume the answer is what's in the brackets, so 13472514. The % stuff could be a modulo operation? I don't know what exactly you'd mod but I'd wager 14 is in there somehow. The letters might denote the order of the code.

Ok so start map. Star map has 3 caddies one of which (the active one) is protected by an unremovable metal cover. The button switches between caddies. AI Be careful of the arrows in the AI mood chart. One means true, one means false (consult which is which at the bottom right of the page). Your mistake was saying joy > 2 which was the right side of the chart not the left where the wanted mood was. Luckily when you were messing around you added 1 fear which gave net joy of 2 which is not higher than 2 so it sent you to the left side where you needed to be.

Ok so I think the code on the house is either ∞ :) 2 X :) Brim or replace the 2 with 1/2 i think its just matching the colors with the button colors but the half is throwing me off. Also for the constelation one you might have done it in reverse, I looked at it again after putting it on a 4×4 grid and the code seems to be something like 7 3 6 :) Brim X 1. Anyways thats all I've got really enjoying these videos even though I've got Enumerative Combinatorics Hw lol.
