8:21 so they basically made a sort of fighting game? Kind of like how Soul Calibur has attack preset moves so you can build a fighter out of those, only these combo moves are being picked up from the data?

More or less yeah. The designers make up a bunch of different attack types, what the rules are for how they work, and then they decide which characters have access to specific moves.

Why did you do the first game instead of Spiderman 2? Are the improvements in that game negligible or non-existent?

It's far too early to make a video about the latest game. My research is based on both developer talks and interviews, as well as modding or reverse engineering games. It'll take time before I can even figure out whether there is anything interesting to say about Spider-Man 2 just yet.
