Looks good and the trim pieces finish it off nicely. For the step how about a sleeper on the front, halfway down the sides and then into a raised bed either side for the roses, if that makes sense. Pots of rosemary from the supermarket won’t attract as many bees in the summer as lavender if that’s an issue for anyone. The bees will be more interested in the lavender than anyone sitting there though.

@@MM-qd4km I like your thinking 👍 I've kind of done a similar thing. I'll probably do part 2 next year, although you might catch a glimpse of it in another video 😉

@@THE-AIDEN-PROJECT Ponds aren't easy....unless they are very small. Some people have ponds designed for swimming in....with reed beds & other plants to clean the water. But a big problem for ponds is the water source. Dew ponds rely on rainfall....but obviously in hot weather they can dry up. Seems to me that nothing in life is easy....if something is easy most likely you aren't doing it right!! 👍

@@THE-AIDEN-PROJECT the comments on ProperDIY's video about what fence posts to use 😂. I'm sure it will be fine, but people said about it holding water where it's not perfectly flat and the wood sweating.
