I wish I saw your video sooner! I purchased one and it is a cheap device you receive that does not work. I paid $69.90 and they shipped it from France. After 2 months of going back and forth with customer service, they told me to ship the device back to France without a return label. After changing batteries/resetting the device, the device stopped working after 4 days. Total scam and don't waste your money. I disputed my charge with my credit card company after spending 2 months trying to get my money back even though they advertise a 14-day return window.

I have been dealing with pigeons on my property, due to my neighbours having bird feeders. They perch on my roof, on the dividing fence between my house and the neighbours, they foul all over the back of my garden on my patio , along the boundary. I’ve been considering these sound devices, to try and deter them from coming onto my property, but if they don’t work, then what’s the point? I'm not sure there is a humane solution. My next option was going to be a gun 😬 fortunately they got fed up with me scaring them away so just ended up moving on. It did help that I was gradually blocking the places they wanted to nest. You should be able to get wire or spikes that would help for your roof

Hi rachel we had this problem under solar pannel. We originally got spike fitted and after 2yrs the pigeons were snapping them as went brittle in sun after time. We have now had galvanised mesh fitted rnd our panels and pigeons have now moved on across the road to neighbours house🙈😂 we been fine for 3yrs now.

If windows and doors aren’t going on for a while how about blocking the ceiling voids with some chicken wire? Not ideal and would probably take a while to do but would stop them nesting

I did purchase some netting that I could use or I could start putting the insulation in. I have put some odd bits of wood or pir in about half of the voids so far though. I really need to get on with ordering the windows though

😂 I suppose some people just pay up without any questions. Our local farmer tried gas cannons last year to stop his crops getting obliterated by pigeons, they seemed to work OK. Stopping them land seems to do the trick but I am close to just buying a gun... Unless I get a hawk 😂

I ended up putting netting up until I got the windows and doors in. I have a silver spinning chimney cowl on top of my soil vent pipe on my lodge and I haven't seen any pigeons land on that roof so I would say the spinning mirror things probably work

Yeah, they're all a waste of money. The only people that say they work are the ones trying to sell them 😂 My neighbour hangs old cd's above his vegetable patch and that seems to keep birds away. I have a stainless steel spinning chimney cowl on my roof line and I've never seen the pigeons land there. I just closed off the building with netting to begin with and then eventually fitted all of my doors and windows. I think mirror spinners might work based on not seeing any birds land near my chrome spinning chimney cowl on the other building. Couldn't say for sure though 🤷

Similar problem here! When the pigeons first appeared about six weeks ago, any bang or noise would scare them off, at least temporarily. But now, they are scared of nothing, apparently. Tried a plastic generic 'bird of prey' but they just pooped on its tail. They are very persistent and guess if it's not actually killing them, they just ignore it! Any suggestions? As for ultrasonics, even the very best of human ears cannot hear above 20 kHz and we are likely talking of higher. Demonstrably, the device shown is ineffective so a non-starter for me.

Oh my days I have discovered that these birds are 50% intelligent and 50% daft. I have tried everything to stop them here. But when you have a neighbour who feeds them stale loaves of bread and cakes and throws the stuff onto the garage roof at the end of the garden it really does not help. Love the birds and different types that have visited over the years to the nut feeder in my garden but once the bread feeding begain its really become horrific. Every day I'm washing the shite they leave behind on the footpath etc as they are roosting in my apple tree! Neighbour refuses to see anything wrong in what she is doing. We now have rats visiting and my husky is having a field day over it all. I don't have a stick long enough for the tree branches so have thought about a super soaker next. All the neighbours are fed up too. Their poo is toxic and bad for health too. Not to mention the mites. If they get into a roof crevice or chimney stack to roost then its bigger problems. This place is like the film the birds..... they flock in their droves and know wen its feeding time! Maybe it was an elderly pigeon that is deaf? Or when they said it takes a while to work they mean around six years (average life span of a pigeon 6 years) 🤣 I’ve stopped them sitting on edge of my summerhouse and shitting on the patio with a few screws left proud and fishing line tied between them a few inches higher than the edge, it’s been a week so fingers crossed. @@THE-AIDEN-PROJECT Well I have got some of this reflective tape to try out - many say that works... We shall see. Also, a ladder is on order so I can meet them face to face on the roof! Worst case I am going to mix up a potion of cinnamon, peppermint oil and citrus oil and spray them and the roof with it - pigeons have week breathing system apparently, so smells they don't like really hurts them. It's sad how much I know about pigeon psychology and biology after wrestling with the bugger's for so long 😁

I bought one before I saw this KZbin I tried to cancel the order but I received an email 5 days after payment saying that the order has been processed and they would try to get shipping halted needless to say I never heard back and the item arrived. It’s ridiculous they say give it 5 weeks well if it takes five weeks for a pigeon to suddenly decide I don’t like this noise then fanny Addams is my great aunt. I’m going to send it back tracked and go for a refund, I’m not holding my breath. Don’t buy is my advice, rubbish.
