@Broad Side it was the first Desing.. even the Impact X... now they have...the 65cc and the new 72cc Power Plenum... way more power and Shots per fill...I was very dissapointed with my Impact Fx X.... but Now I intalled the 65cc Power Plenum... huge difference.... not tomention my other 2 M3... STANDAR and SNIPER.... but I also like my Kalibrgun Cricket II TACTICAL... it has a Power Plenum too...🤘🏻

re Wraith Mini, I own a Wraith HD and an ATN 4k pro, I have always found the reticules on Sightmark products a little heavy and this still seems to be the case with the 4K mini. Since i also use Pulsar thermal spotters and thermal scope I am thinking of trading in my current nightvision in favour of a C50, this way all the menus will be more or less the same and I like the Pulsar reticules to be honest. The 4k mini is physically smaller though

Can you post which mounts and weaver rail combo your using. I love the side weaver of the rail than your IR is fixed to. I've looked on the SportsMatch site, but can only see the raiser adapter blocks.

very nice matt cracking video if you want to see out boss at our range the chef ART Tester with his own personal Alpha Wolf check out airgun snipper elite I'm on there with my .177 Delta Wolf wee are about to start filming 3 videos after been at the factory to collect my .22 barrel this will help barrel sales in the uk i did find out people are installing the barrel kit in wrong its all to to the the probe been installed UP SIDE DOWN giving the gun after setup only half the out put in power so its very important to watch how customers take the brobe out that they take care to install this back in the way you took it off the new barrel

I mean, what’s the actual point when lead ban is like an unstoppable freight train. The whole industry is banjo’d! Why would anyone spend £2.3k+ on a rifle that could be total scrap in just a few years. Surely the manufacturers need to be addressing this lead ban with all their might…..

because it may be years before it happens, there may be exemtions where pellet catchers can be provided, because other materials such as zink and tin can be used and because the whole world buys airgun not just the UK

@Broad Side Think you missed the point, I've not bad mouthed it at all. I said Pointless in sub 12, I stand by that, same reason I didn't buy an Impact in sub 12 either, I went FAC to use the gun to its full capabilities, I have other rifles for sub 12 requirements. Spending 2K on a sub 12, been there done it, its pointless. This daystate is one hell of a gun, no doubt. I've owned a Daystate Airwolf tac with all the electronics Sub 12 before, so I speak from experience, when it was more hassle that it was worth and kept breaking constantly and yes it was brand new and yes it was expensive. Attaching your rifle to a laptop, if that's your thing, then great some with love that, for me I'd rather just be out shooting. I would certainly like the opportunity to shoot A delta wolf, seems impressive.

Same reason people buy a new Range Rover.. to show of how much money they once had. The only reason to spend good money on a sub 12 rifle is for accuracy and build quality and there are pellet on pellet guns for much lower than £2k

I absolutely agree with With Chris - this rifle is proof positive that Daystate have lost their way. I wouldn’t bother with this rifle if I was offered one for free and I shoot FAC air rifles. For those who shoot sub 12ftlb only, this rifle really is the ultimate triumph of style over substance - techy overkill on steroids - Daystate will be laughing all the way bank if people get taken in by all this over priced nonesense ( I’ve been a Daystate fan for years but recently - not so much ).

Broadside - I think I understand where you’re coming from. You see progress as more techy innovation bolted on to what we’ve got and while I feel disappointed that a top class company like Daystate is adopting that approach you are entitled to your opinion and to enjoy the result of all their research and development. Perhaps I’m disappointed that as I see it, it isn’t really a game changer just an air rifle that’s morphing into an iPhone and there will be some people who like it that way. It is just a matter of preference and opinion. I shoot shotguns, rifles and air rifles and very soon we’re all going to be faced with a ban on lead ammunition, air rifles included and I’d like to see the vastly more R+D money spent on quality lead free ammo for all sporting guns and as far as air rifles are concerned decades ago we landed men on the moon but we still can’t make a recoilless spring air rifle that doesn’t weigh as much as a small car. As for the cost of this Daystate, I’m at a time of life when the cost of any air rifle isn’t a significant factor in whether I purchase it but I wouldn’t buy this rifle because it isn’t new or innovative, it’s an attempt to create a market where none exists and to people who shoot ( in the vast majority of cases ) sub 12ftlbs . Really!?🤷‍♂️

@Broad Side I’m not sure that I could accept being described as a “miserable stuck in the mud” or the suggestion that I may be biased against pcps. All my air rifles except the most recent purchase are pcps and have been for decades. However, like most air gunners I started out with springers and recently bought one that has had good reviews in the shooting press. I am amazed at the amount of fun I’ve had with it in the 3 weeks I’ve owned it. The fancy upmarket AA’s, FX’s and Brococks have been left in the cabinet. There is for me a beautiful simplicity in the springer which is a pleasant change from always shooting pcps which can at times seem soulless. So with regard to your final sentence and a nod towards nostalgia my hope was for a more technologically advanced “springer” not as you say the “innovation called the pcp”. Springers and pcps are apples and pears and not,in my eyes, a seamless progression. I enjoy the challenge of shooting both although I have been reminded that the Springer is all about me whereas the pcp is all about the gun. It seems we are both intrigued by the latest developments and in my case while I am always in the market for something I really like this recent Daystate with all its ultra techy specifications leaves me bored - BUT - as you say it will appeal to some. I suppose we will have to agree to disagree and each continue to shoot the guns we are most comfortable with and that’s as it should be.
