Pigeons are flocking to a rape field on one of Andy Watkins’s permissions but it’s not easy targeting them on the open field. Instead, Andy decides on a roving approaching, and makes a decent bag by ambushing the birds as they roost in sitty trees.

Love that Walther LGU rifle!. I own a Norica with GRS ( Gas Ram System) it's a well made and great break barrel rifle for sure.

The silencer on the Norica Storm looks very much like the one I had in my Hammerli Blackout kit and was reversible but was rubbish. It clipped pellets for fun leading me to get rid after only a few weeks.

Damn! that's some fine shooting at 46 yards you have to feel proud at that, knowing you have the confidence in your kit is an absolute must and that shot with a springer tells me you know this rifle well. *Good stuff Andy* Mat what do you think could be done to improve the accuracy of the Norica Storm X, did you try any other pellets or do you feel the scope could do with a bit of an upgrade?

Good question. I tried other pellets but that was about the norm. I am sure that there is a better pellet match out there, though, and I'm sure the gun would settle down a bit with more use. That said, I wouldn't expect a heck of a lot more from an affordable break-barrel. Cheers. Mat
