Glad they treated you so well, the Nepalese are definitely some of the kindest and most hospitable people on Earth. Great that the crew went out of their way to find you some food, even if it was odd tasting. And they even ice their washbasins! It's the little touches that count.

i dont think that it was ice, ig it was some kind of fragnance pebbles , im just guessing that, coz putting ice makes no sense

@@aaryans5487 Bless, well thought out, but I'm pretty sure a passenger or staff emptied out a drink with ice in it, hence the humour at it being there 'deliberately'.

I've taught many Nepalese students in bachelor and masters (business) programs at 2 universities in Bangkok Thailand. They all speak perfect English. All the students very committed to their studies, very cooperative, polite, always share with other students (all nationalities), always attend all lectures, never late, and always very good grades. A pleasure to teach them and work with them.

Nepal needs to fulfill the conditions to remove the EU black list but as a recent KTM post article shows, the political situation in Nepal prevents the country from moving into a brighter future: "... Nepali politicians are least bothered. They keep making commitments but do nothing to fulfil them. Nepali politicians have made many promises to have Nepal removed from the air safety list of the European Commission. The latest was on February 7 [2022], when Minister Ale requested assistance to have Nepal removed from the list during a meeting with EU Ambassador to Nepal Nona Deprez. In November 2021, Minister Ale had appealed to a delegation of the European Union led by Paola Pampaloni, deputy managing director of the European Union’s External Affairs for Asia and the Pacific, to consider removing Nepal from the European Commission Air Safety List. In October 2020, during the 12th meeting of the Joint Commission between Nepal and the European Union, Nepal made a presentation on its substantial efforts to improve air safety, notably regarding the proposed new aviation legislation, saying it was currently under consideration by the Federal Parliament. In March 2019, during a meeting with Pampaloni who was on a Nepal visit, the then foreign minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali had assured her that Nepal had made significant improvements in its flight safety, and urged her to remove Nepal from the air safety list. In August 2019, former tourism minister Yogesh Bhattarai said he had urged the EU ambassador to remove Nepal from the blacklist. In February 2017, former foreign minister Prakash Sharan Mahat had requested EU Vice-President Frederica Mogherini in Brussels to lift the ban on Nepal's carriers. In October 2016, then tourism minister Jeevan Bahadur Shahi, addressing the 39th session of the ICAO General Assembly, had appealed to the body to remove Nepal from the air safety list. Insiders say these are bogus promises of Nepali politicians. “Instead of requesting and making fake promises, why don't the politicians pass the bills?” said Pokhrel. “What’s stopping them?” Another former director general of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, who requested anonymity, said employees in top positions don’t want to work in a small organisation which curtails their power and benefits. “They influence the politicians, and the politicians make decisions in their favour. They also provoke the employees by saying that if the aviation body is broken up, their future will be jeopardised, and their salaries and benefits will be cut,” he said. “From 2009, Nepal has been lying to the global aviation watchdogs.” Arjyal too says that if the employees holding top positions are not honest about safety and development, it will mean nothing even if you split the entity. The ban has affected Nepal tourism enormously. ... " tkpo.st/37ObvHm

It's awesome to see an underrated paradise like Nepal have a service and solution-oriented crew for their flag carrier. This gives a first step of a flag carrier's country to show how their hospitality toward its visitors feels like, then makes it impression. Sooner or later, when I will fly to Kathmandu, I will consider boarding Nepal Airlines from Singapore. Thank you for your honest and valuable airline review vids, Josh! Thumbs up to your consistency in delivering valuable information for passengers like us before taking a flight into airline options we can consider flying off from. 🇵🇭🇮🇹

Love your videos Josh! The mountain views on the landing approach were awesome. Sucks they ran out of food ;( I flew Etihad in FC and they ran out of food on my 14 hour flight. That was upsetting to say the least. I don't get it how can the airlines run out of food. I mean they know how many people are on board so why can't they have catering add enough meals for the duration of the flight.. Unless the crew ate some of the food?? Keep up the great work!

You should do a video on Cathay Pacific. I should have... in 2019, From DCA to Hong Kong. First clue, no headphones- they "ran out". Long flight with no entertainment... On the way back I brought some - they were still "out" a week later! They ran out of food also. Amazing. They found me a crew meal - how nice of them. And the attitudes were awful. They were downright rude to my wife and I. They absolutely could not be bothered to help with anything. Never again will I fly with them.
