That olive tree needs to be outside. The leaves will start to turn brown and all fall off in that corner inside. I tried putting one inside my house right by a huge window and it still did not do well. I put it outside an it turned bright green again. You can get a fake olive tree inside tho and it will give the same look you are going for!

Olive trees won’t work in a house. They need sun and if for some reason a miracle happens they are very messy and drop olives and leaves everywhere. The desert is a great place to grow one if you water it enough. Good luck.😊

The thing with the closets that would bother the hell out of me is not having the drawers flush with the sides on the cabinet. Would it have been so hard to make them fit exact? its not like they are cheap. that closet is probably what $6-8k ?

I once bought a car that the gas tank door would not open and I was able to make it to a dollar store. I got an orange peeler for a buck and pried open the door. I did that for all the years I owned that car. It's helpful to have little tools in your car for these weird things that happen. I know that same frustration and panic that I might have to give a dealer $200 for a tiny spring or a new latch.

we have an airstream too! they are so fun! the windows are always so hard to pop with weather changes. use a screw drive from the exterior after opening the latches and that should help if they ever get stuck.

A tip for transporting plants: If you're going to do so in the back of the truck, either drive *really* slow or use a tarp to protect it. Your olive tree endured hurricane strength winds on the drive back. (Category 1 winds start at 74mph.) I don't know about olive trees specifically, but most trees need to be outside as they need the temperature fluctuations and lighting that indoors don't provide. Also, that pot needs drainage or it'll develop root rot. (Even if there are two pots, the water has no were to drain and will turn stagnant and the roots will drown & rot.) Super jealous of your closet! We have a walk in but it's so poorly laid out that it's maddening.

My family owns an Olive Grove and olive trees require full light. It may survive inside in next to a big window in the sun, but it may not do very well and could get mealy bug. Plenty of good indoor plants you could get such as a monstera

Monica, I'd love to see a video of you telling us more about Palm Springs. What is it like? Being from the East coast, we sort of have the impression it's not a place for the younger crowd, say younger than 50. Is it just a "normal" city? Are there neat things to do? I saw a video the other day and was shocked there are mountains with snow right at Palm Springs! Again, haven't been before and from the East coast. But I've been looking more and more at the West coast, especially this area. Would you recommend it for other young adults? Is it dog friendly?

it's a nice area. Avoid it during the summer cuz it's easily 110+ during peak summer days and 100+ average throughout the summer until late october

The increments don't match our income, yet certain investors still earn over $365,000 in stocks and assets. Wish I could accomplish that.
