What a beautiful gift you have bestowed upon all blessed to have found this recording! Thank you for posting this! Could you post the Akathist to the Theotokos chanted just like this? I am trying to learn it and it would help to listen to it. I cannot find it anywhere on youtube or church website - it is either broken up in sections or the paraklesis instead. My translation might be different - its translated from greek from a Greek Orthodox monastery. When the bodiless one learned the secret command, in haste he came and stood before Joseph's dwelling, and spake unto the Maiden who knew not wedlock....An angel, and the chiefest among them, was sent from Heaven to cry: Rejoice to the Mother of God...Rejoice thou through whom joy shall shine forth. rejoice, thou through whom the curse shall be blotted out...rejoice thou Bride unwedded! Beholding herself in chastity, the holy one spake boldly unto Gabriel...Alleluia. Thank you. The Holy Spirit is descended!
