Imperial Knowledge I would like to add to your video that the Tsaesi (I really don’t know how to spell it) might be similar to the Yuan Ti from the DnD universe. Yuan Ti are a mix between a human and a snake (especially the venomous kind) their body structure differs greatly between the types of Yuan Ti and some might be able to fit that burial mask. It might be a lead on your case but then again we know almost nothing about the Tsaesi so I might not conclude to anything. I hope this proves useful to you.
@chains2660

From what I gather I believe Tsaesi are human, though they wear armor and mask similar to medieval Japanese samurai in order to intimidate their enemy. You can guess how the imperial legion or nord army would feel when they face the enemy which wearing an armor and a creepy mask, this would greatly effect their morale greatly not seeing enemy faces make them believe their opponent aren’t human or elves. The tsaeci use blades and not shield similar to samurai, but their most deadly weapon is fear they make mask and armor that make their appearance unhuman enough to scare their enemy this probably be the reason why both elves and men in Tamriel fear them to this day.

Perhaps they are morphers imo. How morphers, Power Rangers, Were-people, etc....tend to morph back when severely hurt. Maybe, we see them in their non-morph (Or normal form). While those who battle them, describe these beings as snake like, because they are in their battle form. `

My guess is that either A) they were all weresnakes and formshifted between human and essentially lamia forms or B) they were a race of men that had snake-like features but werent actually as serpentine as some sources describe (maybe think something vaguely along the lines of the FFXIV Au Ra race, but scalier, not so dimorphic, having much larger tails, and with unhingeable jaws instead of horns)

For what I can recall, VIvec allied with Reman against the Tsaesci and personally attacked their flank while Reman was dealing in Pale pass, cutting the retreat as result. The skeleton in Vvanderfell could be that of a prisoner, perhaps an highranking officer, who ended at least buried in a coffin after death. O a tsaesci prisoner who fled, lived wild all around Vvanderfell long after the invasion failed. So could very well be canon, not even an easter egg and totally in tune with the established lore.

Reading how last year describes Versidue it seems he has the lower body of a snake as he'd be coiled in on/under himself. I think that there are different variations like the kajiit have, say vipers are more humanoid with legs and are warriors, cobras are more snake like without legs and are politicians or rulers, etc.

I have a feeling that another Akaviri invasion of Tamriel is on the Horizon. There is a popular theory that suggests that Emperor Uriel V didn’t die at Ionith. A support for this theory is that Todd Howard once said that the initial plot for Skyrim was a Dragonborn coming to Skyrim with an army of Dragons to reclaim his throne. Whether this is true or not, remains to be seen. But it surely makes for amazing storytelling😂😏

To all those people wondering if they're snake-men or humans, remember, there's a quest in Oblivion in which we speak to a Tsaesci ghost. And he's clearly human.
@ImperialKnowledge
@ImperialKnowledge 2 жыл бұрын
Doesnt answer the question since there are hints of there being humans AMONG the forces at pale pass as the humans may have been kept as slaves by akaviri races (see story of lyrisius). And then we have the case of the potentates who lived far longer than humans and were described as snakelike. So i dont doubt anymore there were humans among the pale pass force, perhaps as freed akaviri slaves or as slaves (less likely). But the real question is wheter the original tsaesci were humans or snakelike.

I believe that the Imperial army is based on that of the Tsaesci. So they probably have Roman influence as well. Like you can see with Oblivion's Blades armor. Hey Imperial, I wonder if you can do a video on CHIM, Zero-Summing, and the Amaranth/Godhead. Supposedly, only two known people in the TES universe have achieved CHIM. Vivec, and Tiber Septim/Talos. But is it possible that there have been other people who were not famous who achieved CHIM, or Zero-Summed? Since there is a book in ESO that talks about Zero-Summing, and the Black Book Waking Dreams in Skyrim talks about the Godhead. The Black Book says "The eyes, once bleached by falling stars of utmost revelation, will forever see the faint insight drawn by the overwhelming question, as only the True Enquiry shapes the edge of thought. The rest is vulgar fiction, attempts to impose order on the consensus mantlings of an uncaring godhead. First," Does this mean Hermaous Mora knows about CHIM, and the Godhead?
@wiibrockster
@wiibrockster 6 жыл бұрын
I think it's likley. Hermaous Mora has incomprehensible amounts of knowledge to the point that in Skyrim the Mage Septimus Signus gets knowledge from him and he Zero-Sums in front of us by floating in the air and disintergrating.

That's my theory as well. It's the only theory that I think reconciles the two starkly different descriptions with no contradictions or holes, and it'd make sense, considering how Akavir seems to be s a much more wild and dangerous place than Tamriel. So for a race of men to survive there, lycanthropy was probably what was necessary
