This is the music you'll never get tired of. I was about 10 when my brother brought this vinyl record at home. 1981, 1982 I should think! I was hypnotized by this song. Aw man, what the hell happened to music?! I'm glad I was there to live the glorious 80's.

Compartimos sentimiento y vivencias similares.

@JoseAngelMorente21 күн бұрын
@Lizard-of-Oz21 күн бұрын
@ Vaya!!
@JoseAngelMorente20 күн бұрын

What a fantastic album was "Turn of a friendly card"! I never imagined that the harpsichord could be used in a prog rock format and work so beautifully.
@Yesshows015 жыл бұрын
Your comment demonstrates that you never heard Yes. Rick Wakeman used harpsichord many times in their albums. I agree that The Turn of a Friendly Card is a fantastic album.

Turn of A Friendly Card is in my top APP albums along with I Robot. I just love it, especially the 16 minute suite. The thing that I always loved about the Alan Parsons Project was that even their radio singles were experimental and went through many different changes unlike what we hear today in popular music.

I remember hearing APP for the first time it was something from tales of mystery that moment stands still for me in time I didn’t know who I was listening to but I knew I wanted more thus began my journey with Alan Parsons … now almost 50 years later having the pleasure of meeting him and talking with him if only for a few minutes I realize `the talent and passion this man has for music .just listened to EVE again my favorite album such rhythmic music with layer after layer of something going on and the voice of Lenny Zacatek singing about life from the bottom of his heart this is what makes his music so special for me .Thank you for the memories of yesterday,today,and tomorrow.

The Gold Bug was something i really liked on The Turn of A Friendly Card, and still now, a fairly intriguing and pleasant instrumental piece.
