I was in a dark place in the mid 80's which was when I found this group. I played their music everyday on my Walkman! They gave me the strength to carry on!

Hey, you loved the music, and You, loved the way, the band, showed the world patriotism, especially, at such a time in America! Their music, lifted you're spirit! And hopefully many others, I know it did mine!

I love them. And Mike Peters was a man ahead of his time as is evidenced by the fact that he is dressed as Woody from Toy Story decades before the film was made.

Listened to an interview from probably early 80s with Steve Marriott from The Small Faces who when asked if any of the band's around today impressed him paused , thought about it , seemed a little uncertain and then blurted ou The Alarm, praise indeed.

They were such a good live band - saw them at the Pontrhyfendegaid pavilion (a glorified village hall in the middle of nowhere) in about 1988; it was packed to the rafters and they damn near took the roof off the place; more energy than you can ever imagine.

I was there last Wednesday nite, but it wasn't "The Alarm" I saw. It was Mike Peters, his wife, and two musicians on stage. Glad I went, but to call them "The Alarm" is a disservice to "The Alarm."

All things come in three's..1: I saw them on Top Of The Pops doing this.2: I was hooked and bought everything they released. 3: Was an original member of their fan club and saw them over 100 times. 4: Winds Howl.... Shame on you Mike Peters for ru uniting the band without any of the other 3. You're a No.1 "Let The Bell End Ring Piece".
