It was never abandoned. The previous owner just didn't live there. That doesn't mean it's abandoned. Very few of these so called "abandoned" places on YT are abandoned. They have owners who are waiting for some reason to sell or renovate. Law enforcement needs to stop these videos being made. I have a very interesting structure on a large land lot that I own and I have had endless trespassers with cameras trying to make these videos. I put up security cameras and in two cases I brought legal charges and am pursuing them to the fullest extent of the law including punitive damages equal to all their YT earnings for all the trespass videos. Trespassing is a crime. All your videos are doing is giving a roadmap to looters and vandals to destroy private property. There is no such thing as "abandoned" if there is an owner, which there almost always is. People shouldn't be allowed to make money from illegal trespass. Profits from these videos should be seized and given to the owners of the property. If those owners want to make a YT video then they can. It's not for professional trespassers to do that.

TS 22:43 The oddly shaped box and its curved holes..that was used for holding chisels. The curvature of blades and all the different sizes, the depth of the box short to long. All made sense with all that fancy woodwork in that beautiful place. Your areas in wine cellar that hold water were generally used for soaking new barrels so they would swell and not leak. In the UK you can actually find some abandoned places that have outdoor ponds right by the wine cellar doors. Rolling them out of the water into the cellar. Quite impressive how each country thinks. We have a vineyard just down the road from us and they have an indoor barrel pool as they call it for swelling barrels. I did however notice lots of those you filmed, the rings were loose. An yes we here in America would pay a small fortune just for a 55 gallon barrel. Great video once again. Jess working that camera an going where the bats were..bravo on you lol I myself love love love bats. Enjoy the rest if your weekend❣ xx

Thank you so much for sharing your discoveries with us! I absolutely LOVE how you take the time to view intricate pieces let alone, you don't talk your way through your discoveries as it this is some sort of a sales channel. You not only let the incredible finds speak for them selves, you know when to pause for a second so we can get a better view of what you are seeing! GREAT WORK Sam & Jess!!!!! ✌🙌🙌🙌

So hard to imagine that these families can leave these places abandoned and decay to the elements…. I truly will never understand and there are so many of them. The architectural items that sb preserved. I guess we come into the world with nothing and we leave with nothing and the “stuff” in between DOESNT matter.. just interesting from historical point of view..
@Lee-eu6wf3 жыл бұрын
I agree with most properties I don't understand it, but with a big old mansion like this it would cost millions to live back in there and knocking it down would be a travesty. Makes me think all the work put into the grandeur of it means nothing now.
@TheAnonyy3 жыл бұрын
Because they would cost a bomb to restore no-one is daft enough to sink money into these old places unless they have an end plan as the running cost/maintenance will eat into your pocket. No mod cons that would be prohibitive to install in a property that size. It's unfortunate but best to buy modern built property unless it has had very good maintenance record of its old
@isabellamusulo91902 жыл бұрын
@@TheAnonyy Unfortunately they don´t know how to build such beautiful houses or furniture anymore. These houses are the remnants of a very highly developed civilization (everything was very beautiful in that era) which disappeared completely (within the last hundred years).

Wow! This was quite an exciting adventure with the hogs and house full of treasure. The box you saw at about 22.47 minutes is called a knife box and would have held the good cutlery for the household. Probably late 18th century. They were generally found in pairs and kept in the dining room on top of the sideboard at either end. That one book in the trunk in the attic was bound in vellum ( sheep skin). You guys did an excellent job. Love your vlogs!! Safe travels.

I loved watching you avoid the pigs, what a scream, I think they may have ended up more frightened of you lot. What a tragedy to see this beautiful house in it's beautiful decay, there is so much there that should have been saved before it's too late. It is awful that the uniform jacket was stolen from the music room, but at least it might survive as history before it falls into rotten threads. Excellent explore as usual Sam and Jess.

Just watched the home from five days ago and now this one. Both beautiful. Besides all the beautiful furniture and rooms in this home, the one thing that stood out to me was that it looked like someone still took care of the home. Hey Sam when you upload this can you put in a spot to donate a pint or whatever for a phone I saw him one of the other ones I think it was touring London by foot you can scroll through and there’s a spot to two tip the person giving the tour if they can do it you should be able to do it too.
