Clicking a potion while crafting one will immediately recraft that potion given you have all the ingredients. Do not skip out on this advice!

If you plan on doing anymore alchemist runs, here's a useful guide for how the different ingredients interact when making potions to save you having to memorise them all: 1st Ingredient determines the type: Bloodthistle - Lance, Bubblebloom - Wave, Cinderoot - Nova, Mageleaf - Bolt 2nd Ingredient adds an addtional effect: Bloodthistle - either regenerates health or applies Fear, Bubblebloom - Frostbite, Cinderoot - Burning, Mageleaf - Extra base damage 3rd Ingredient adds a tag: Bloodthistle - Rending (enemies killed generate 50% more exp), Bubblebloom - Rushing (applies a random status effect), Cinderoot - Volatile (50% extra crit chance), Mageleaf - Expanding (50% to instantly trigger again on use) 4th Ingredient adds a 2nd stronger tag: Bloodthistle - Demise (applies decay to enemies), Bubblebloom - Conservation (gain 50% extra uses when crafting), Cinderoot - Potency (50% extra damage), Mageleaf - Focus (50% less cooldown)

Haven’t won a run with alchemist yet yet I’m nearly finished with mastery 25 with the others. There’s so much to think about and plan with the character that’s why I benched it in favor of finishing the other characters first.

@@deyrek I don't blame you it took me a while. But if you focus on one type of potion and chase its talent tree benefits, you can certainly get strong quickly, at least that's what I found. I was partial to the lances and applying as many statuses as possible, the pierce gets insane.

Yeah, Bloodthistle in slot 3 can really help get levels.

@@deyrekalchemist was the first class I actually had to hold back on immediately maxing out mastery. My first win I just went with like, 5 or 10 mastery so I could unlock the challenge.

-quick note with automatics - not always, but sometimes, if the shifter won't shift like it is supposed to, it can be possible to go to the opposite side of the shifter cable, on the transmission side, and just turn the shifting knob by hand (or tool). Car doesn't need to be turned on to shift, but the transmission gears can't have any pressure on them, or else it will bind. (Drive by wire is a bit different though, since it's bluetooth shifting)

I don't think you've done any challenges. I'd definitely recommend doing the ones that unlock new Legendary Talents to play with.

I like putting my primary Lance button on my 4th slot (usually fire or multi Lance) and my panic "oh frick I'm about to die" wave burst AoE on 1. That's my personal preference, 4 is easy to reach and 1 is pretty hard to reach in comparison

Couple things. One, you picked up a talent that lets you throw out a free random spell once in a while made of 2 ingredients (so it doesn't have any of the benefits of ingredients 3 and 4). That is why you found your character throwing lances you didn't hit the button to cast. Two, when you saw your character throwing out a whole ton of lances, that was the Sage's Lance, made of bloodthistle and mageleaf, and it's quite possibly the strongest ability the alchemist can brew. You throw more lances scaling with your ability power, which gets crazy late in the game when you have 2000% ability power. Scarlet lance may seem pretty good, but it just can't compare to the sheer lane clearing power of infinity lances. I seriously was not able to make it to night 20 on alchemist until I figured that one out.

1. You can swap active slots 2. You can press game info button in the esc menu and check enemy stats, enemy bonuses, your stats and most importantly check what talents do you have.
