You make an important point there sir. One of the first I've seen for a long while! It's all too easy to make songs with samples because it increases the chances of a technique called 'Serendipity' or a 'Happy Accident'. Where by an unintentional creative solution develops. Often revealing something you'd never think of doing yourself. The trouble is, it limits not only the sound of the song throughout, but also the control you have to shape the track. Genre often dictates this short-cut.
