I will not look at any comments before saying this: despite pleads in the video, there will be few actual objective viewpoints in the comment section. I'll try to my best to put one in. Here it goes... the video shows two blowhards from opposite sides of the political spectrum confronting each other. Neither blowhard is a moderate. The spitting featured in the video was gross but how bad it was in the great scheme of things depends on how gross the viewer perceives not just spitting on others, but spitting on others in a moment of pandemonium. They were running a live show, Alex was invading their personal space, refusing to leave. I'd grade Jimmy's actions as neutral at worst. They were probably completely justified IMO. If Alex had tried to invade a live broadcast of a major news network they'd twist his arm so far behind his back "escorting" him out of the news media that he'd be able to able to touch his left ear with his right hand. Jimmy isn't a news media guy, he's a comedian, and he treated Alex exactly how he deserved to be treated.
