I bet he end up editing a Raiders hat on his head. I’ll watch again to see if I’m right.

I enjoy Steve Berry books, I stumbled across the Amber Room and chose to read it simply because the cover had a quote from Dan Brown saying "My kind of thriller" or something like that. That sent me on a Berry Binge to catch up on his works; even though I do like them I never understood exactly who Cotton Malone used to work for. The Magellen Billet? Is it like the Attorney General's office, or the JAG division, or a combo of both?

Thanks for the heads up on this series, Brian. Dan Brown can't write enough Langdon novels to suit me so I'm happy other authors have indulged in similar thrillers. Like Steve Berry, Eric Lustbader put out his initial Bravo Shaw book The Testament in 2006 too, very Da Vinci Code-like, but more importantly, he tacked a trilogy onto it 10 years later using the surviving Testament characters; there's always a high body count in his tales. The trilogy veers into a supernatural fantasy vein that utilizes not only WB Yeats but a host of biblical fallen angels as demon antagonists. The series kicks major butt and I daresay they're right up your alley.

Poor baby Gary. The library of Alexandria sounds very interesting as a plot device for a book. Looked up Margrave GA, because I'm reading Killing Floor, and it's fictional. 😆

This was the first Berry book I read, and I knew I had to get all his books after enjoying it so much. I read 13 of his books so far and have loved them all.

I've been waiting for this review to come out. I was a little on the fence with the first book, I enjoyed it but it didn't knock my socks off. Since you enjoyed book two more then I'll give it a shot. The only other issue I have is that you have me on a crazy Michael Connelly kick at the moment. I have Angel's Flight and The Scarecrow ready to go!
