A war lasting a month that even had DDOS and phishing attacks against rival gangs. This is the story of GTA Online's greatest era.

I never really got to experience the first war but I did see a little bit of the second alien war. I didn't really know about the first war because I was busy playing older GTA games, Twisted Metal Black, and The Crew 2 since at the time I was tired of playing GTA 5 and wanted something else to play.

I remember having to solo a squadron of green aliens and a squad even jumped me in my military tryhard gear and was destroyed by them using baseball bats and they got outta a van like the mob, I couldn't believe that tactic worked against me, they did have ghost organization on. Imagine a high KD tryhard getting rushed by numerous green aliens, they werent a gang to underestimate

I remember when gta online around that time was dry and rockstar hasn't announced anything, but when the aliens trend came it was fun and chaotic at the same time, you had green vs purple vs every player then you had players that specifically went after aliens, rockstar made the costumes free during that event, my fondest memory was getting recruited by the men in black crew to take out both gangs with batons, and yes i agree with the moderator, it was fun at first but then got really toxic i got griefed and harrassed plenty of times from both because i had a pastel suit, but regardless it was the best thing the community has ever come up with.
