Recorded Saturday, February 3rd.
I forgot to upload this update earlier.
The “All Hell Fire” rocket is ‘Ready To Fire’.
I am now awaiting an opportunity to shoot it.
I threw on a 4 inch air blast- containing 3Ƽ0g.
Filled that bitch up to the brim for max power.
This little Hellfire motor will lift it like a feather.

Amazing rockets Casp. Would like to learn more about the “Hellfire” mix.

The Man, the Myth, the Legendary Uncle Whitt, is now along for my ride? What an honor, most truly! Please, make yourself comfortable, and feel free to help yourself to any refreshments. I would be delighted to redirect a little more light on the material of “‘Hellfire Whistle”’ to you Uncle W. As stated before, this is the composition Dan from Huppscustom came up with, as featured in his KHP with copper chromite testing miniseries. Then Jeff, aka RunningMan picked it up and gave it a name, ❲which was because it had not been designated one at the time❳… He called it “Hellfire”, and mostly everyone has referred to it as that ever since. Hellfire is a high-end “Redline Propellant”, which means it is so powerful and vigorously burning that it literally is on the edge of converting to detonation when a fuel grain that containis it is deflagrating. This is why you typically would not press an entire rocket with it, just the delay stage, as it has an inherent habit of redlining at launch and C.A.T.O.ing because of its extreme nature… The way you make Redline Propellants like Hellfire reasonable for payload responsibility and much more reliable is by waxing your respective rocket tubes where you will be implementing them, as you cannot reliably employ Redline Propellants in non-waxed tubes due to the issues addressed in the aforementioned publications. Anyways, it’s great to see you around, my good friend! I hope all is well with you and the family, and I wish you an excellent evening.

This will be the test that proves everything with this mix. If it works, I will make, test and film.

I have Access to a lathe at a friend's place, I wanna go with 1lb tooling, 19.5mm id of the tubes if I remember correctly and 19.5cm lenght. I'm thinking of metric simplifying it to 20mm and 20cm long. Do you think that sounds good? The spindle initial diameter and lenght and final diameter is something I've yet to know the dimensions, maybe you could give me the dimensions and your opinion on the project

Casper , after reserarching around i see KHP whistle formulas like for example from pyrodata that doesn't include any catalizer on it , just states a 70/30 mix , is that correct? I'll like to experiment this fuel in the future .. there is copper oxichloride a option as a catalyst or red iron oxide , also i read somewhere that red gum as being used for that purpose. Since the moment that cu.chromate and ferrocene are kinda hard to get Any advise will be greatly appreciated 😊 Tks.

The KHP formulas on PyroData are designed for just static ground whistling devices that remain stationary on the ground, so those formulations where not made with propellant applications intended in mind, henceforth why you see no catalysts in those mixtures. Copper chromite and Ferrocene when used together to catalyze KHP for propellant purposes make for the highest thrust/ISP output whistle propellant you can reasonably make, due to their highly synergistic catalytic affinity in potassium-rich contexts. However, with that being said, you can still make very powerful KHP propellants for whistle rockets without Copper chromite and Ferrocene, so as long as you use any copper-based catalysts… With the use of Copper oxychloride, I would definitely recommend the following composition: 68/28/2/2 Potassium perchlorate/KHP/Copper oxychloride/Paraffin wax With Copper chromite and Ferrocene, a more fuel-rich composition is used: 6Ƽ/3Ƽ/+2/+1/+0.Ƽ Potassium perchlorate/KHP/Paraffin wax/Copper chromite/Ferrocene This is the composition Dan from Huppscustom came up with. Then Jeff, aka RunningMan picked it up and gave it a name, which was because it had not been designated one at the time… He called it “Hellfire”, and mostly everyone has referred to it as that ever since. Thank you for your comment my friend. I’m very happy to know we both take complete interest in one another’s pyrotechnic projects.
