KRAIT X
Lightweight and comfortable air rifle KRAIT X (slug edition) has an ergonomic right-hand AR15 grip, a length adjustable stock with height adjustable butt-pad and cheek-piece. KRAIT has 60 cc plenum size. The pressure regulator and the valve have externally adjustment without discharging the air tank. The scope Picatinny rail has 20 MOA. Easy-cocking side lever comfortably situated near the trigger with a possibility to change right-left side. The trigger has a 2-stage adjustment. KRAIT is also equipped with an anti-double feed system (for 5,5 (.22) calibers only).

To my mind, a lot of companies do not field test their rifles long enough to highlight possible problems before bringing them to market, the to let their customers to do the job for them! That is not how it should work and really only gives a company a bad name. Any problem should really be sorted by the MII of a product if truth be told. To have to bring out a MIII before its sorted says a lot. To take a good company, just look at Weihrauch, they take their time and that's it, no continues messing, they simply get it right the first time because they do the it properly.

I was interested in this pcp but here in Spain, in a matter of a few months, the dealer has raised the price by €300, 20%, on a model that has had regulator problems and also some CZ barrels not at the expected level. They lost a buyer. There are plenty of other quality options at those price levels.

Still, if I paid that kind of money and only after a year I a Gen3 Reg works... That's not good! Should be tested before leaving the factory, yet they made the same mistake with the Gen 2. Did you adjust the regular to test it? Or is it out of the box?

Thats correct i do agree but in nower days we expect problem free items for the hard earned money we spend..But thes for a real world where everything is perfect which we wouldn't find anywhere.. But coming back the the question....The one i have tested with the Huma regs are far superior to the original regs from airmaks,and they are the ones fitted to their airguns as we speak. So reg problems are in the past,and glad they fixed and went with huma. As we would always say why did you not go that root in the first place is because of trial and error.hope that sums it up in a good way.

Post an 80 shot chronograph string from 300 bar fill pressure all the way down to 150 before you tell people the regulator problems are gone. I can almost guarantee you will get a dwindling velocity with that gun. I have several videos proving this on my channel, as well as a video that shows you how to install the vastly superior Huma regulator (which is a proper PUSH design, unlike the Airmaks Pull design) that largely gets rid of that problem.

I think HW100 regulator design is the best one, it is very well made and robust. Never seen anyone complaining since it was first released in 2004.

AirMaks has gone over to Huma regulators which basically a tench knock off but it does the job.

It’s also interesting to note that AirMaks also redesigned the monoblock. I couldn’t get any assistance from dealers here in the US concerning the existence or availability of a V-3 reg so I ordered a Huma reg and problem solved! The only issue I have now is the cocking lever. The cam over tension design that holes the lever closed is not strong enough which causes the leaver to pop out if the rifle is slightly jarred. I haven’t contacted AirMaks for a solution yet. (Not going to waste my time trying to get assistance from my US dealer/distributor!)

If you want to increase the tension on your cocking lever detent that is possible! if you take off your optic rail by undoing the two 3mm allen bolts that hold it in place and pop it out of the way, you can then see the rear block that the cocking lever pivots on, there is a 3mm grub screw securing this block to the barrel, and the T10 screw on that plastic cover, undo the T10 and remove it, then loosen the 3mm grub, you can then push this block slightly forward, my recommendation is to have the lever sat slightly open, so the cocking shuttle is just touching that O ring, then you can tighten up the 3mm grub to secure the block and now closing the lever should compress the O ring and keep it closed for you, if the above is not crystal clear just give me a shout and I will stick a video up for you 👍

Here in Chile is the lastest version, the reg came with reveral problems, even it isn't useful for hunting. It's a waste of money.
